Thread: Almond Butter strikes again!

    Unhappy Almond Butter strikes again!

    Hi All,

    OK, so week3 of p3 and all has been great! I was stable below my goal and loving life.. I decided to try almond butter again since I had a slight gain from it in week 1. I lasered it last week and thought it would have cleared.. Not so much

    I had some last night and went from 123.7 to 125.1 Not good. Does that mean the laser didn't work? Should I try it again? Or can I never have almonds?

    Also, I was going to try fage today (lasered that already too) should I wait? I haven't had a problem with other dairy (heavy cream or cheese)

    I don't know what to say about the almond butter because I know I have an issue with it, almond flour and almonds. I did laser it, but never opted to use it during my P3 as it caused gains and I will say that this round has been my most stable round to date by using other nuts rather than almonds.

    I would have the fage. I added that this round successfully without an issue. Good Luck.

    Thanks! Were you ever able to have almonds after P3 or are they totally out of your life for good? Did the laser work for you? I am going to save fage till tomorrow, just in case I have that 2nd day delay AB gain like last time.. Fage will still be there tomorrow =)

    I also have problems with almonds and almond flour/meal, so I haven't tried either yet on this p3. I gained immediately after having both last round. I would rather just use flax meal and wait until p4 when I can have my beloved natural chunky peanut butter by Smucker's. Yummy.

    I haven't tried them yet. A little gunshy about it. Enjoy the fage. I had mine with walnuts and blueberries. YUM!!

    I love the natural peanut butter! That would be something great to bring on my trip! Speaking of peanut butter...

    I made this wonderful cake over Christmas and had no problems gaining while eating it.....I was in P4. I subbed sugarfree choco chips for the regular ones since the recipe had honey in it and didn't want to double up on sugars. It was delish and disappeared quickly!

    I couldn't do almonds in any form in P3.

    LoL good thing I've never been one to just sit round and eat nuts. I totally stay away from almond flour also.

    Good thing I like walnuts. I'm good with them. Used them for loading this round.
