    Hi Grammy,

    I was wondering if we can have greens like kale, collard, mustard greens or spring mix instead of just romaine or spinach? Never eat plain lettuce any more. Also, have you purchased b12 inj for ADC. Just kind of nervous purchasing and using things from international sites. I guess I read to much.

    Not sure what to do...

    This is P3D7 and my weight has been steadily creeping up throughout my stabilization phase:

    LIW: 221.8.
    • DAY 1: 220.4 lbs.
    • DAY 2: 221.4 lbs. (+1.0 pounds)
    • DAY 3: 221.4 lbs.
    • DAY 4: 222.6 lbs. (+1.2 pounds) *
    • DAY 5: 222.6 lbs.
    • DAY 6: 224.0 lbs. (+1.4 pounds) **
    • DAY 7: 224.0 lbs.

    * Have no morning weight since I was without a scale. Used the next weighing and put it across both days.
    ** Sub-1000 calorie and 10 carb day

    Notes:
    - Started colchicine 2 days before P3 started. It was prescribed for gout.
    - I lost 1.4 between my last injection weight and the start of P3.
    - Water intake was 3.5 litres per day on D1 and has been 4.0 litres consistently since.
    - Woke up at ~3:00am with serious heartburn on D2.
    - Have been consistently eating breakfast, lunch and supper with a snack between lunch and supper.
    - I had hunger right from D1.
    - My energy has picked up significantly.
    - I no longer feel scarily faint after a hot bath.
    - I am sleeping better.
    - Foods I had at the beginning that I have now kicked to the curb: decaffeinated green tea, pork products, red meat, pork rinds, compliments caesar dressing, vegetable broth and whipping cream.
    - Coconut oil is on probation until I get my weight back in line.
    - Bowel movements have been inconsistent and mostly diarrhea.
    - Physical activity has been limited throughout, with only spurts of walking on D3/D4 (mall crawls to buy clothing) and a short morning freakout jog/walk on D6 after I saw how high my weight was.
    - My plan, when I get my weight in line, is to eat healthier (no fatty pork, or processed foods) for the rest of P3.

    Near constant adjustment have been made throughout, which has failed to arrest the gains.

    To this point I have blamed:
    - red meat
    - lack of a discernable bowel movement
    - strange fluctuations indicative of the first week of P3
    - fatty pork
    - processed food (dressing being the main holy cows, "It must be you!" culprit)
    - more difficulty in stabilizing, which is not uncommon for a second round
    - high salt
    - adding calories too quickly (D1's menu: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/dia...ate=2012-02-14), especially since my physical activity was so low while I am resting my foot. My D2 menu (http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/dia...ate=2012-02-15) makes me wonder if the calories matter though.

    Yesterday (D6):
    I took more drastic measures to affect my weight, since I had gone over the 2.0 pound buffer by 0.2 pounds. You might ask, "Why not a steak day?" and the answer is twofold. Firstly I have sworn off red meat (due to gout), and while I know there are other high-protein options, the second reason is the bulk of my decision. I am taking colchicine, which is very hard on your stomach normally, and it must be taken with food. Since I am taking multiple pills I need multiple meals that have a bit of substance to them.

    My P3D6 meal was 956 carbohydrates, 10 grams of carbohydrates (9 if you count effective carbs) (http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/dia...ate=2012-02-19). This sub-1000 calorie day mind-bogglingly resulted in no change in my weight this morning. *profound sigh*

    I am left questioning everything now ... Butter? Eggs?

    If there are any words of wisdom you can provide, I would love to hear them right now, because I am seriously frustrated.

    Hi Grammy

    I'm hoping you can help me with my hunger issue. It is now day 20 and I am still hungry. Yes you read that right!
    I do sublingual Rx. I started taking 166 IU under the tongue , 2 x per day
    I then researched your advice before posting and decided to try reducing the dose.
    I skipped a day. Then, I reduced to 100 IU 2X per day, I was better for about one day. But then the hunger came back. But I stayed at 100 IU 2X day for 5 days to give a go. Then I moved up to 133 IU 2 X day. (I used these amounts as it is easiest to read the lines this way on my syringe, so I can be accurate). A little better, but then a day later still very hungry. Yesterday and today I went up to 150 IU 2X per day. Note: I think it was 150 IU, as I best judged from he markings on my syringe.

    Now I am worried as the only place to go is back up to 166 IU 2X day. Should I try to go higher? I only tried to go lower as I read your earlier advice about trying to go lower.

    P.S. I have never really been hunger-free in these past 20 days. I never got to that sweet spot. Every day is a challenge and I probably end up eating more like 900-1000 cals due to sheer hunger.

    grammy, I have read so much that I am more confused then ever. I found out from you that I'm probably insulin resistent, In p4 I gained any time I added the slightest starch. Then I deceided to do the leptin reset. Now my questions are these... Can I have dairy I have been having it and am losing on the leptin reset. Not a lot but just greek yougret. Can I have nuts. I am already through p3 with no sugar and no starch so I really hope I can at least have these. I really like this way of eating if I can have these things I will be one happy camper. I know there are paleo and primal I just want to understand how you are doing these two items. I am following the other thins like the bab and the eating times just didn't realize until now that dairy and nuts might be no nos. I have already lost a little in my first week of eating these. The reason I am doing this is because I had do do steak days almost every other day since p2. Now I have stableized and am losing slightly don't want to mess up reset up by not doing it properly. I know there are many opions but I value yours. I am at gaol weight.

    I really would like to start the diet but am struggling to find a reliale site that ships to the UK. i just wanted to ask if you think this site is reliable? http://www.hcgdietpackage.com/

    I've also heard HCG is banned in the uk and am worried anything i try to import will be stopped at customs, do you know if anyone in the UK is recieving theirs?

    Quick question. Me and my wife needed up taking our HCG with us to Key West. And we would leave it in a cup of ice. Well we underestimated the sun on one of the days and it made the water HOT!!!! We immediately chilled it with I've cold water do u think it's still good?

    I know the answer as I live in the UK as well. AllDayChemist delivers hCG to the UK, no problem. Takes about 5-10 business days.

    Smosus, a bit of hunger just before a meal is perfectly fine.

    Melliz, how did you feel by evening? If you were better, then you may need a dose just a bit lower.

    cco, it's normal to be a little hungry on skip day when the dose is okay.

    Pcmom, so sorry about your grandma! Sorry I wasn't around to advise you. It's fine to take your injections on the plane though. There is never a problem with that.

    ELW, your treatment with the laser should hold fine.

    American, did you try skipping a day to see which direction you needed to move your dose? I don't ever advise changing the dose without knowing which way you need to go.

    Shana, I would not do dairy or nuts for 6 weeks then try adding them. Dr Kruse doesn't recommend nuts because of the Omega 3/6 ratio but they are okay in moderation.

    kimmy, I'm not familiar with shipping to other countries. Sorry!

    TheHousers, you might get a pregnancy test and check it. It might not be any good.

    Thanks, Grammy! I ended up lowering my dose to 115 IUs and yesterday I felt absolutely fantastic! I will continue with 115. I plan to take Sundays off from my injections, so I imagine this Sunday will be very telling as well.

    How much magnesium citrate do I suppose to take to have a bowel movement because I have not had any since this diet.
