    Hey Grammy-

    I'm having trouble stabilizing in P3. I did a steak day on Sat. and got back down but have gained about a pound every day since so I am in need of another steak day today. I started NAET last week due to my trouble stabilizing and GI issues after eating certain foods and was "cleared" of milk. I upped my calories, good fats and protein yesterday to try and avoid the steak day but was up 1.5 pounds this morning. I avoided all questionable foods too, except 1 Zevia, and I had FFF in the am, heavy cream in tea and 2 oz raw goat cheese as snacks to up calories and protein, thought all of that would be ok after the NAET. In R2 I used hHCG drops for about 20 days and than switched to hcg1234 drops for another 20 which they said was a hcg bio-identical hormone. I feel like gaining all my weight back and starting over with the shots, maybe that will make it easier to stabilize!! Any advice or insight would be awesome!

    I skipped a day and felt worse (meaning ravenously hungry)
    My guess is that I am one of those few who still need to go up a dose?

    Question Hi Grammy

    quick questions
    1. which food group is it better to make up to the 500 callorie count if it falls short of the 500, the protein, the fruit (like more strawberries,) or the vegetable?

    2. If I am on the rx Corion drops and mixed in total 15cc of NS, and I am taking 1/2 cc SL, how do you change the dose if you have to. And on the drops, how do you know what hunger requires what.? I am always a little hungry especially right before I eat. Drinking like a fish. Last night I had my orange at six thirty (my dinner at 5) and right after the orange, I got hungry. Today, I fixed a really good and satisfying lunch and am planning on eating the strawberries a little later when they have thawed a bit. Now it feels like I am hungry. Not a raging stomach growling hunger, just a little niggling.

    dominique, start with 800 mg a day. It might take a couple of days.

    bunny, you may have cleared dairy but that doesn't mean you can eat it because you may still lack the enzyme necessary to eat it. I'd try cutting it out.

    Martha, try upping your dose then.

    mrsrogers, I don't add any foods to make it up to 500. If I cut a fruit, I add extra protein but if I'm eating the allowed foods, I don't add anything. All you can do is skip a day of drops and see if you feel better or worse by evening. That tells you whether to take less or more hcg.

    I take digestive enzymes with my meals, they have lactase in them, wouldn't that help? Also, can I use organic grass-fed ground beef for my steak tonight? Should it be lean or fatty?

    You can use any beef. It doesn't matter if it's lean or fatty. Even with lactase in them, you might still have a problem unless you're taking enough that is specifically for that issue.

    Hello again Colleen...I am coming to you with a deliema that I am hoping you can shed some light on.

    I am into P3/LR for approx 1 1/2 weeks. Going well....8 above my LDW.
    I am weighing in daily, measuring every week. This is where I am disturbed. I am increasing in inches in my hips, bust and waist, I am talking approx 1/2 to 3/4"
    Is this normal? Should I be concerned? I did have labs done, waiting on results now (sometime this week) the only one that I didn't do is my sal. cortisol, have to go elsewhere for that. Can you shed some light on this for me please?

    Hello everyone
    I wanted to ask a question.... yesterday was my last injection. I have lost 0.1 for the last three days as it is TOM I was really hoping to get my LIW down a bit more than that.... should I expect a swoosh as soon as I finish TOM and if that is so do I count that as my LIW? I have not cheated at all.... let me know your thoughts.... I went down .4 today.....

    Hi Colleen,
    Thanks in advance for always giving such wonderful advice. I am always copying your advice for my group thread for additional support.

    I hope I havent screwed this up too badly --- heres what happenned.

    I did a routine R1 of 43 days with 28 lbs gone and finished right before Christmas. Considering the timing, I thought I did rather well in P3&4 (although I really stuck with P3 foods). I went into R2 at 3 lbs above LDW at 200 lbs (i am using Body SHaper drops).
    I had intended to cycle short rounds (23 days) to make it a little easier for my body (im 62 w Hypothyroidism and Epstein Barr).
    I completed 27 days - lost 15 lbs, and stopped the drops. I completely forgot about staying VLC for the 72 hours and began eating P3 in the form of nuts cheese and Fage. So I went up 1.4 on the first day and because I am a SLOOOWW learner another 2 lbs the second day. I asked "What would Grammy do?" and went back to P2 foods and read all the posts I could find which were a little scary about never stabilizing if you dont get the 72 hour window right. I dropped 1 lb. My new bottle of drops came yesterday and I decided to start taking them again today --- thinking I could treat this as a planned interruption and correct the mess up. So my last drops were at noon on 2/18 and I began again on 2/22 in the am.

    Can I just go on and complete a full round until i reach a 34 lbs loss? I lost 15 already so I could go for 19 more, correct? I am so nervous about this, that I am abandoning the cycling idea and just want to concentrate on getting this done right. After that it would be 4 wks on P3 & 4 each. Would that set me right?

    THere are 2 other things that are bugging me --- my hair is falling out at an alarming rate so if things get really bad, this could be my last round. I am taking B vits, biotin, collagen and was taking regenemax as well. I also eat more protein; nothing is helping. In addition, I had an upper back pain develop between my shoulder blades during the last round. It went away after a coupld of chiro visits but I also ended the round at the same time. Today, after my second dose, it came back. I read a few posts about referred pain. SO given all this, (sorry for being long winded) what do you think? Suggestions? Is it ok to just complete this as a long round and then go for a check up with endo and GP? Oh my endo lowered my synthroid (wld this cause hair loss or the drop in weight? ) during r 1 bc my thyroid was functioning better from HCG... and he will not put me on Armour! I asked. Thank you!
