Looks interesting! I hope it is giving the right protocol.![]()
I wasn't sure exactly where to start this group, but since I mostly hang out on Grammy's Forum I thought this would be a good place. I just downloaded this book to my Kindle and can't wait to start reading it. It has gotten great reviews. One of the things I love most about hcg is how it changes our relationship with food. A lot of us our emotional eaters and this book is focused on overcoming that while following the hcg protocol.
If anyone else is reading, has read, or would like to read this book, I'd love to get a thread going.

Good point Colleen. If it doesn't I'm totally fine with removing the thread or moving it to another area.
I'm just a few pages into it, but right off she states that most participants aren't aware that eating and hcg directly influence the hormonal response from all organs of the body, and without strict compliance to the protocol, there could be harmful consequences. She also talks about leptin right off - which made me think of you![]()
looks interesting. I had to stop turning to food and drinks when I was upset. I haven't touched alcohol since Dec 18th, 2011 thanks to the changes and determination I've been able to make on hCG.

No, no, I don't want you to delete it. I just wanted to remind everyone to check protocol before following anything recommended. We get so many things that are wrong. She may be right on protocol.

So far she is VERY pro protocol. And leptin reset. I like that she talks about the foods on the list like the apple on protocol supporting the leptin reset but pear does not, even though they are related and the pear has fewer calories. The gala apple is a cross between an apple and a pear. For that reason I have intuitively stayed away from it. She feels Simeon is really on to something with the protocol.
And I liked thinking about how to not eat in a group where people are all eating. Going against the tide...I went to breakfast with friends this morning and only had black coffee. It was uncomfortable at first but then it was OK when we started talking about other things. I said I hope you all do not make me leave if I only have coffee. What is with that.
I purchased the e-book

Just downloaded it to my kindle this morning. Can't wait to read what she has to say. To me protocol is protocol and I try very hard to stay on track...not mixing veggies and adding in extra things. I have been an emotional eater since I was young. I have learned on Hcg that I can't turn to food or booze when times get stressful and I have to deal with it.
Going to start reading today after hubby heads to the airport and kids are down for afternoon nap.
