i ordered her book and it should be here next week.

i can't wait! i'm hoping she opens my eyes a little more to overcome emotional eating.. which i'm sure the book will from what i've read so far.

last round i was on the ball, if i did decided to cheat it was on a couple peanuts or dried prunes but i would feel guilty over just that and get right back on track the very next day.
this round... i had to stop for a week and re-start because i was eating mexican food... sweets... you name it. i was wasting my money and time by doing that. now i can't seem to buckle down and snap out of it! i'm really struggling to not struggle this round. haha! if that makes sense. there's no fighting this round, i give in right away and i can't seem to get out of it at this moment.

I just downloaded the book also yesterday. I have also watched her posted items on You Tube where she explains the hunger scale in detail.

This is my third (and final) round. I have always been an emotional eater.....while I know what I do this helps 'unlock' WHY I do it.

Looking forward talking with you about our thoughts on this topic.

I picked it up on my kindle a couple of days ago. About 75% through it. Liking it so far, except she does repeat herself quite a bit in the section on emotional eating.

For me...I know why I gained the weight. I got pregnant and used it as an excuse to over indulge. But I was okay with it. I knew that I would gain the weight but it's pretty much the only time you can gorge yourself without being judged LOL! I don't think I am an emotional eater...not really anyway. Although I do understand that sometimes I do eat when I'm bored or just because I want something that tastes good in my mouth. Mostly though, I do know what real hunger is. I know that for sure!

I got this book and feel it is really helping me understand my eating emotionally part.
The part that got me was only eating when you are hungry and the hormonal issues.
I know it is true for me and for the first time i am really losing on HCG.
This is my third round and i have gained back every time.

Is anyone else reading this book and losing more than they have on another round?

I am down 12 pounds in a 7 days including load weight. I am only eating when hungry.

All I can say is 'AMEN' for this post! This is EXACTLY my problem. Up and down 10-15 lbs the past 20 years and I am sick of it. Hoping this book will help me. I was seriosuly considering seeing a therapist because I am an emotional eater.

I read the book, and she says you need to really load fat suffiently, between rounds. She tells how people who have not loaded enough fat wonder why their weight loss wasn't as good as the first round. That they are afraid to really eat like they did their first load, on first round. Then they are disappointed with their weight loss, she has a sample menu, of the amount of food you should eat.

Read it. Loved it. I recommend it. I like her philosphy that doctors prescribing hcg also should have avenues of offering a support team if needed if you suffer from emotional eating. It would be nice if doctors asked more questions to determine whether or not you do emotionally eat and maybe have a great therapist on hand or dietician that you could see if you choose to do so. It would of course cost more. Or simply encourage them to read this book.
After reading this book, I have been asking myself "Am I REALLY hungry??". It is definitely making me think before I eat.
