first day of VLCD, I feel great.Hope everyone has a great night!
Can I join too?I've done 3 rounds (one doesn't count, had to stop in the middle) but my first round was June '10 and lost 20 pounds and kept it off, Round 2 = SCRATCH
and Round 3 in September lost 15 pounds and was doing fine. Now my boyfriend decided HE wanted to do it now...he couldn't have wanted to do it in September?? Haha, oh well, a January detox is going to feel so good. The problem with the diet is that once I know I'm going to do it, I eat whatever I want and never even TRY to get back to LDW!
I was 3 pounds over LDW last time I weighed and won't weigh again until tomorrow morning. I can't look at it during the load days because I know I won't do it properly so I'm just preparing myself for a number I will NOT want to see and then Wednesday mornings number WILL be better
. Happy losing everyone!!

Down 4 pounds after VLCD2!!! Peed like a crazy woman so I know it's mostly water weight but I'll take it and run fast with it!!
Another food tip if you're interested - I take whole roasting chickens and cook them in the crock pot: Rinse the bird well, take out the nasty bag of stuff if it has it inside the cavity (the bigger ones usually do), and put it BREAST SIDE DOWN on several balled-up wads of aluminum foil (or use some other kind of "prop" or pedestal - the idea is to keep the chicken off the bottom of the crock pot so as it "drains" its fats and juices, the bird doesn't sit there marinating in it). I put NO water, NO spices (especially no salt which will dry it out if you use it ahead of time), NOTHING else in the crock pot. Put the lid on tight and set it for low for several hours. I used a really big chicken yesterday, maybe 7-8 pounds (??? way bigger than the roasted ones you get at the grocery store) and it took about 7 hours. When I do the little ones (they usually cost around $4 down here) I cook two at once, and it takes about 6 hours. Anyway when it's done, the chicken will just fall apart it's so tender. We don't like the wings and legs so I save those for my housekeeper but the breasts are divine and ready for whatever seasoning you want, or just plain. You can also pick out the leg and wing and back meat and freeze it for chicken salad in P3. We had ours last night on top of a bed of steamed spinach with lemon juice and sea salt. Yummy! (My kids are amazing - they eat almost anything I cook and when I'm doing hcg they eat the same meat but I give them extra sides that don't tempt me. thank heaven for bagged salads and steam-in-the-bag everything!)
Loving hcg again!!!

Hi everyone,
I hope you have room for one more, I'd love to join you!
Today is VLCD1 for me, and I'm so excited to be back on HCG. My first round went way better than I ever could have expected, and although I know those results were not typical, I'm hoping my body likes this round just as much. I have my head in the game, and am ready for a healthier 2012.
I hope everyone has a great day,
Beth

Hello you all! This is all new to me. I'm on day 3 of injections. Did my Loading starting 1/1. Last night had pizza that almost made me sick. Today I'm starting VLC. Should I continue to post here? I'll look further.
Still need advice as to optimum dosage via injection, and how to tweak so it's best amount. I don't want to either overdo or underdo. I started at 125.
I'm eager for input and advice cuz this is all new to me.
Welcome! I'm not the expert but I'd imagine you should give yourself a couple of days at least at 125 to see how you feel. If you're hungry or lightheaded, Grammy is the one to ask dosing advice. I started out first round REALLY high at 200 and ended up settling out around 160-165. 125 is on the low side of average, IMHO, but see how you do with it before upping the dose.

Happy New Year all yaz! I'm on VLCD1 today. I've gained a bunch back over the holidays, just like everyone else here or so it seems. It's certainly nice to know I'm not alone! I plan to do a full 43 day PERFECT round and get my metabolism and everything reset back to the way it used to be. I'm afraid to get on the scale, so I'm waiting til the end of my first week to do so. I KNOW I've gained a bunch cuz my clothes barely fit anymore. So happy to see you all here and to have this January forum to go to for support!
Let's get losing!
Hey Zami!!! Great to see you on here. No, you're definitely not alone in gaining a bit (or more, like me) back - the important thing is we're knocking it off, right?Happy New Year!
