    Good Morning Ladies,

I will concede and tell Destiny that she was right. I think alot of my gain issue is related to not eating enough food. I found myself snacking on meat and veggies and eating sweets....very wrong combination for sure. I revamped yesterday and ate 3 good protein rich meals and have dropped .4 this morning. I feel lighter this morning, less bloated and a bit more at peace with myself. I know that what I am eating has nothing to do with sensitivity but everything to do with how I am eating. The sensitivity testing is a pain but it does help weed out bad foods without much effort, and I tend to feel like I'm a dork having DH do it.

I took a bath last night for the first time in years. Since having kids I struggle to get a shower ever couple of days, so taking the time last night for a bath was unreal. I felt like I should have been cleaning the tub not soaking in it...hehehehe It was a very nice mental and physical break for me...I need to take more time like that for myself.

Elliott doesn't have school today for President's Day and DH comes home from his short work trip. DH and I are planning on doing dinner out tomorrow night...I think it will be the first time since September we have gone out alone to dinner with no kids. Looking forward to getting dressed up a little bit...nothing to fancy and enjoying time away.

I will check in later with shout outs...Have a great day!!!!!!!

Good morning! So proud of you ladies still in P2 rockin with the losses...I'm ready to start losing again .

Some of us seem to be having bad days. I am of course guilty of that myself and I try to just remember that this is NOT an easy diet. How many times have we read on here people that seem to treat HCG like any other diet, not getting enough or the right info, not following protocol, succumbing to cheat after cheat...you each deserve a pat on the back for even going about this the right way. It is an extreme and intense diet and each of you respects your body, the HCG process and the healing power it can have. I know it's very easy to get discouraged but each day you stay on protocol and with the program is another BIG step toward getting healthier and happier

AFM - Up and down up and down that's how this p3 has been. Still haven't hit more than 2 lbs on either side, no more than .6 above, but I'm pretty sure it's because I'm not drinking enough water yet I'm eating plenty of salt. I need to be better about my water (and probably better about eating enough too Molly!). Yesterday I had a huge cookup where I have enough P3 foods for the entire week. I really suggest getting the cookbook Well Fed by Melissa Joulwan. She's paleo to the T so absolutely no dairy, but she has excellent recipes for really clean eating and tips for meal planning and execution that save a ton of time during the week. I like the principles of primal better so I'm following that plus adhering to the Atkins Induction theory of less than 20 carbs a day (I have to break my addiction to grains). I will never go back to grains knowing now what they do to my gut as well as my hormones.

For instance, yesterday I made a quiche, ham muffins, tuna salad, roasted chicken thighs, homemade ranch and mayo, 2 huge casserole side dishes and marinated a bunch of meats for dinners. It only took about 2 hours and now my week is pretty much done! I basically just have to reheat or portion meals and have DH grill a protein at night. Phew!

I have been meaning to ask you all your opinions on the effects of birth control as we try to regulate our hormones. I'm only 27 and not ready for a family so for me it's a necessity, but I also just switched back to an oral pill hoping it would clear some of this hormonal acne that won't go away despite the fact that I now also have to worry about these fine lines all over my forehead.

Okay sorry for the long post! P3 protein-fueled energy has kicked in and I'm waking up ready to take on the day instead of groggy like usual. Woo hoo!

150 ~ being able to wear my hubby's jeans has been my "super secret" goal. I still cannot believe it!

Destiny ~ hope you feel better today :^)

Molly ~ sometimes we have to remind ourselves that a relaxed momma/wifey is a happier and therefore better momma/wifey. Enjoy a little bit of "me" time everyday, even if it's just being able to be in the potty by yourself! And good job on upping the protein to correct the little uptick. IMHO, these are the little nuggets that are going to allow us to be successful in maintaining our newly svelte selves. Have a GREAT time at dinner!!!!!!

Tulsa ~ thanks for the tip on the cookbook. I bookmarked the site and will check it out. I'm pretty good with the basics, but I would like to find some really good paleo recipes to feed to my fam and they are SO grain oriented. I think my hubby would feel SO much better if he would go paleo, so I'm going to start sneaking it into his meals a little at a time and see if I can wean him off the grains.

As for the "roller coaster," I think it should always be considered that a woman's body does not stay at a constant weight all month but fluctuates according to her cycle. I can't remember how long you've been P3 but if you haven't hit 2 pounds on either side, I'd say (IMHO) you are just doing the normal, cyclic ups and downs of a normal woman. You are doing GREAT!

AFM: stayed the same this morning - 147.5. Have a GREAT morning all!!!!!

Kate- That is so great that you have reached your super secret goal! What a wonderful feeling that must be!

Tulsa- Yea for P3 energy! That is awsome you got so much cooking done in such a short time.I am going to have to look into that cookbook...I love cookbooks and it would be good to have some I know I can use and not have to try and figure out how I can alter the recipe.

    Two-Good loss!

Cindy- I still find it amazing to see how our body reacts to food. The fact that something as simple as say a tomato can cause issues. That cutting that from your diet can make you feel better.Just crazy amazing!

Maria-Glad you woke up to a loss! So great that you were able to go and try on pants to remind you where you are and just how far you have come!

150-Happy the BAB are working ! LDW here you come!

Beloved- Glad you are feeling better.Your Hubby sounds like a very smart man!You CAN do it and you WILL! It can be hard and we all have our down days. That is why this forum and everyone is this thread are such lifesavers! Tough love when we need it and support and encouragement when we need that. Hugs to you!!

Zoe- I just looked at your ticker......You are doing great GF! 28lbs is ROCKIN!!!!

    SLim- how was your weekend?

AFM- I believe I am going to cut out eggs again...not that they make me gain the thought of eating them makes me gag,as well as chicken.Strange. I am also going to give up my yogurt as well as other dairy and see if it helps with the nausea.I woke up to a .4 loss this am putting me right at my LDW but I need to figure out what is making my stomach "bloated" looking.Anyone made lemon crack? I am tired of chocolate..I made some last night not exactly how I wanted it but not bad.Going to have to play with it a bit.
AND COLD BATH HERE I COME!

Destiny--good luck with that cold bath---I just don't like cold water!

Will be looking for that cookbook too. Nice to have some ideas without trying to figure out what's gotta change.

Kate--have you been wearing hubby's jeans again?

Molly-I agree with Kate, carve out a few minutes each day, but 5AM is a good time to be sleeping!

    Slim,chasbla, eyedoc- where are you?

AFM-Up this am .4...not sure but it may have been the berries I had for dessert last night...forgot how many carbs are in berries...but they were good! Looks like I need to buy some almond flour and coconut flour for some of the recipes I have found. Just not sure I am'safe; to start baking yet...it's too easy to overeat when it's in the house, and REALLY I just don't NEED it! But I know my DH misses having some baked stuff in the house too, maybe I can wean him away from grains gradually too.

Enjoyed having a day off work, back at it tomorrow...hoping for big losses for all...
    R1-Start WT 212- June 2011-40 days- lost 21 LBS
    R2-Start WT 198.8 Sept 2011-42 days- lost 22 LBS, 26 Inches
    R3-Start WT-177.2 Dec 31 2011- 38 days-21 LBS, 16 inches..LDW 157
    93 days later 163.1 ~~6.1 over LDW

GOAL-135--Discovered I'm just over 5'3" now. Seems I am shrinking. (no surprise when I get the MRI reports of my spine). I was 5'6" in my 20s--gravity is winng!

    SSG-124...ssshhh

    Morning all,

WARNING - this is not one of my usual upbeat posts. I am having a hard time. Yesterday was another challenging day for me. I just wanted to eat - head hunger, not tummy hunger. I had an extra fruit and extra serving of steak. Although I took a detox bath and drank tons of water, the scale was up today I also ate out both lunch & dinner on Saturday and although I stayed OP that could also be affecting the scale. I'm having some issues with hunger this morning, but maybe just because yesterday was a skip day. Honestly, if I didn't still have so much hcg left in the vial I'd be real tempted to call it quits now and move on to P3. I need to get out of this funk and get refocused. I know I can finish strong. If you're prayerful, please pray that I make it successfully through the end of this round.

Kate, great to see you plugging away and getting closer to goal
Under150, I bet that little gain will be gone today.
Destiny, hope you're feeling much better today. Cold bath ... brrrrr!
Tulsa, yay for P3 fueled energy!! I need me some of that!
Molly, Beloved, Zoe, hope to hear how things are going for y'all today.

Maria - I am SO with you! I just want to be done and move on to P3 'cause I'm tired of chix breast!!!!!! Plus I'm having a lot of head hunger, too. I don't know if it is the lack of fat for satiety or what, but everything is calling my name right now and I'm having a really hard time not cheating. (oh, just a little taste is not going to hurt me... yeah, right!!!!) We just have to keep telling ourselves "only nine more days, only nine more days..."

We are strong women who have come SO far and I know we can do it!!!!!!!

Are you going to LR for your P3?
