Hi friends! Just another quick fly-by as work has been a busy bee these days. This morning I am .6 away from LDW. Still stabilizing but enjoying the ride! Keep up the great work and attitudes ladies!!! I realized I have lost the weight of a small child! Now there's something to shout about!!!
Molly, so sorry to hear about your romantic accident! But, I must admit you had me laughing imagining it! I've been single for so long, I wouldn't even know what to do if a man walked through my front door! LOL...

Just a quick one for me this morning - up 2.0. I'm sure it's a combo of no bm and a bite of king's cake yesterday. Just reaffirms that refined whites (flour and sugar) cannot pass these lips without consequences. Not even close to worth it. Oh well, lots of liquids and POP and I'll be right as rain in a day or two. Eight more to go... : )

Cyn, if I were you I’d take the first weight, but eat very clean/P2ish until you have a little more wiggle room. BTW, I saw a post recently where Grammy said not to do more than 2 steak days in a week.
Kate, I read the book and really liked it a lot. I even started a “book club” on the Grammy’s Groupies forum if you’re interested in seeing what others think about it.
Under150, thanks for sharing your experience with LR. It sounds like something I need to do and you’ve broken it down so that it’s easier to understand. I want to keep this weight off for good. I like the prospect of being able to lose a little more on LR.
    Cindy, great job stabilizing!

I hope to hear how the rest of the crew is doing! Hanging strong I hope!

AFM, the gain from yesterday was temporary and likely due to eating out. I was down 1.8 today to 138.2 lbs. The lowest I’ve been on R3 and officially under my R2 LIW!! Can I get a woot woot?!!!
Like Under150 suggested, I’m just going to take it one day at a time. I realized I’m at yet another previous set point and that’s making this even more of a challenge, but as long as I continue to lose and the hunger is manageable I’ve decided to stick with it to the end.

If you kind of do the diet, you'll kind of get results.

I would Grammy told me ..try a protein day..nothing but protein..some for breakfast, little for lunch and more for dinner.I had to do that 2 days in a row last P3 steak day didn't work for me. Hope this helps!

AFM I am up .4 today..Stupid TOM .so I am 1lb over LDW. I made homemade cream of Zucchini soup last night for dinner..It was fantastic! I don't know why I have not made in in so many years.Quick easy and DELISH! Also after reading Dr.K's info on the cold bath again I realize I need to buy some 10 to 20lb bags of ice to put on my belly/chest.DH is going to have a heart attack..I have not told him about the cold baths yet! LOL He is going to think I have gone bonkers!
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

    Hi my friends,

Boy have I missed you guys! I went to my brothers house for the last four days. I had a great time but it was so hard to stay POP, I kept tilling them I can't have that and they said you look to skinny, you need to eat! ERRRRR! Of course there internet was down and I could not even get on line to connect with my life lines.

All things considered I did the best I could and tryed to eat POP even when there was not much served that was POP. I am very upset though because I am up from my low of 146.0. I was just one pound from my round goal!!! This morning I was 148.9, so upsetting. Beware of family they mean well but they can set you up!

I'm so glad to be home and in contact again. I sure hope I can get this gain of 2.9 pounds off quickly. I really want to get to my goal of 145 this round and keep it off for good.

I must say that I noticed that my size 8 jeans (brand new) are getting a little looser on me or so it seams.

I need to go for now, lots to do after being gone for four days. I check back in tonight and read up on all your posts>I missed all of you!

    Hello All,

Well today is a steak day. I have to get my poop in a group. Tomorrow and friday will be protein days. DH is off work this afternoon and I'm making him help with testing my sensitivity to dairy. Got to figure out my issues now before P3 rolls out of control and I can't get back.

Kate- I'm so sorry for the gain. Keep your head up and your mouth away from the yucky stuff. I would always tell myself no matter how much I really wanted the stuff that I would get sick from it. We all love you and are pulling for a mental recovery and a great finish.

    Slim-We have missed you too.

cynm- glad to hear from you. Gains suck when all you want to do is stabilize.

    Maria- WOOT WOOT!!!!!!!!

here are three things that seem to be true for me from the weight loss apocalypse.
First everybody hurts. For me today the grandson is getting over a cold, upset tummy and coughing and I fear I might be getting it. I was mighty glad to see him go home for lunch. And so here is the first thing I got from the apocalypse... You hurt if you eat. you hurt if you do not eat. Sometime you have to tolerate feeling bad. And just feel bad.
The second thing is to be nourished. The national park here is closed for snow so we went hiking this morning at a favorite park of mine with a spring in the woods. A nice trail. I just let boy and dog run and run as long as they are on the trail and not out of sight. My spirit really settles and expands when I am in the woods. Nobody else in the family seems to be nourished by being in nature like I do. I need it every day. Oh well, the dog and the little grandson like to go with me. So the second thing I got from the apocalypse is the necessity of finding things that nourish me that do not involve a scale or food. I always had nature in my life but now I use it intentionally. I actually say I am doing this to nourish myself. I can be nourished without food.
The third thing I did was make a safe place where [I] did not need to worry about food and eating. My husband is hosting a small group tonight and he gave me a list. He wanted olives and crackers and cheese and gelato cookie bars. I keep a gluten/grain free and sugar free kitchen so the poor man has to keep his goodies in the car. I know we have to move through a real world with all these carbs but I need a safe place. Number 3 for me is that in my own home there is nothing here that it is not OK for me to eat. I have a list of OK foods and there is nothing here not on the list. I can relax.

Slim--welcome back, missed ya. Those pounds will come right off if you are POP...just a couple cleam eating days and you will be shrinking again.

Molly--sensitivities wreak havoc...find out what gets ya na dstay clear!

Kate- thanks for the link...I think I will get the book. Emotional eating is my issue, so once I get if off it has to stay off...I miss Lakeside Linda from the September group...she had this all figured out! Sorry about your gain but ahng in, it'll come off!

Maria-glad you are going to stick it out one more day...that's all you need to focus on anyway---today---tomorrow you can do it again.

Zoe- thanks for your post about the book, it sounds interesting, how are those cold baths going?

AFM- had a bit of a whoosh--DOWN .9 so now just 1.4 over LDW...a few more days and I should be there. I was hoping to have seen the last of TOM, but he's back...why can't he just leave FOREVER??

Hope everyone has a great day!
