    Hoping that I can join in.. I'm on R3P2D8. Only down the amount of weight I gained with loading. Working out some emotional eating issues, but really trying to get back on track. I've been lurking for a bit, but wanted to say hello and congratulations on the losses

    Welcome P.C. This is a really good group of people and there is a lot of support and information. I am personally on R1P2D12 today so we should be pretty close to ending at the same time.

    I made a wonderful recipe yesterday. Tomato Basil Soup - it was so filling and tasted exactly like the kind Progresso makes, only better because it was a P2 recipe so I can eat it without feeling guilty.

    I didn't lose any weight this morning - but I didn't gain either so that is wonderful. I am sure tomorrow will bring more losses. I just wish I could have 1 day of more than a 2+# loss - just once in a while. I am not complaining because right now I am losing steadily so life is good. Down 13 total in 11 days!! Not too darn bad.

    Here is the recipe that I made - I highly recommend it.

    Spanish Tomato Basil Soup
    Ingredients
    2 cups low sodium chicken or vegetable broth (or substitute 1 cup water for
    1 cup low sodium broth)
    2 cups chopped fresh tomatoes
    3 ounces of tomato paste
    4-6 leaves of fresh basil rolled and sliced
    1-2 cloves garlic crushed and minced
    2 tablespoons chopped onion
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    teaspoon dried oregano
    Pinch of marjoram
    Salt and black pepper (just a dash)
    Directions
    Puree all ingredients in a food processor or blender. Pour into a saucepan
    and heat to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes. Serve hot,
    garnish with fresh basil leaves or parsley.
    One to Two servings (1 vegetable)

    Hi everyone,

    Thanks for the recipe, cooking is really helping me...I'll make your soup tomorrow. I'm down another pound today. Had some dizziness but ate some shrimp and it settled. Off on a road trip, which is hard to do on this diet but I'm packing an orange, celery, salsa and for dinner I can have 3.5 oz of fish and a green salad. What road trip tricks do you all have?

    usmile - I didn't realize we were only have a one day difference on our VLCDs today is 21 for me. I'm going to 30 solid days, like Grammy recommends for stabilization. I don't wanna gain back what I've lost again anytime soon. I'll go longer if I'm still feeling good, but I don't want to pressure myself so much that I screw it up. I did 54 days on R2. We'll see.

    nancy - I was this weight once before in the past year. On one of my failed attempts to go a round. I'd like to see the 140s this round, but I may not and that's ok.

    german - Great losses so far for you! Grats!

    annie - I bring a little cooler with my meat and lettuce or marinated cucumbers in it.

    Demie - ooooh 148! I'm envious!

    I didn't lose any today, but I imagine I will tomorrow. I'm excited about getting close to completing the round. I feel so good on the diet lately! I love the empty, skinny feeling in my belly.

    Good morning ladies
    I am down 0.2lb and it puts me at 10 lb loss this round so far. I was at 148.2 the morning at VLCD2, that's where I started my count. Today is VLCD23 and my average loss per day is very close to 0.5lb. Last round I did 30 days and lost 10 lb. (gained 5 lb back).
    Zami - you have a solid plan for this round, you are doing great so far, keep it up!\
    P.C. - welcome to the group!
    Annie - good losses! Yes, it's not easy to be on the road while doing P2, but you have to figure out your schedule, adjust some if you can to be able to have your meals.
    Demie - 0.8lb is a great loss! Congrats!

    UUUGGGGGHHHH - I am on a 3 day plateau - my weight hasn't moved in 3 days. I know this is normal but it is sooooo frustrating. I haven't cheated AT ALL so I know that it is just my body adjusting but I am so disappointed. Hope everyone else is doing well on this beautiful morning. Maybe tomorrow I will get to adjust my ticker weight - can't wait to get off of the 13 pound mark!!

    Afternoon, well I stayed the same I thought I would hit my 50# today, but no!! Zami, your doing great you will make it. I was going to do 30days, but I think I will do 45 days to see if that gets all of it off. Usmile, so glad for you, your losses have been great.
