( am-ish Really strong nausea today after all protein yesterday. Mostly beef. Slept badly, and had sorta palpitations similar to pre T3 (thyroid) palps. About 20 minutes ago, I thought about electrolytes. Hmmm. In the old days, if I had any nausea after drinking (I drink very little because I don't respond to booze well and don't like it) I would drink water with salt and imitation salt (and sometimes sugar) to smooth out my imbalance.

Well, I didn't have any booze, and I don't have sugar in the house, so I drank the salt and potassium to see what effect that might have. I think I'm feeling better already. More later.

Could high protein cause electrolyte imbalance. I'll do research later, but have someone coming here any minute!

Update 12 noon: Felt MUCH better after the sea salt and potassium. But not perfect. So, took another dose of mix with some, KARO. This might work even better. Now, I will have some Yerba Mate.

PS Is there any way to change the default options to "don't" show your signature? I don't find that option in my settings.

Thanks Grammy. I'm much improved since that day, so, either it is time heals/corrects, or trying to "fix" electrolytes worked, or none of the above. Queasy sucks. But now I'm back on-program with a Withings scale and my Fitbit.
