    First off, thank you for providing such great information on cycling.

    I do have a question. I understand the longer you are on P2 the longer P3 you should do. So usually the recommendation is 3/3 but if I were to do 4,5, or 6 weeks of P2 should I do the same number of weeks in P3?Or is 3 weeks of P3 long enough no matter how long you are in P2?

    Round 1 - Started May 19, 2011 (41 days) - Lost 21.4lbs
    Round 2 - Started August 20, 2011 (60 days) - Lost 23.2 lbs (had gained back 8lbs from Round 1)
    Round 3 - Started Jan 1, 2012 - March 30 (cycled twice) - Lost 24.6 lbs (had gained back 14lbs from Round 2)
    Round 4 - Coming Summer 2012 - wish me luck that I maintain!!!

    So, I have been doing P2 now for 9 days and have a birthday party to go to in 3 days from now. I was planning on doing P2 for 3 weeks, but I was going to do a planned interruption for the day of the party and the rest of that weekend, then go back to P2 on Monday. Do I need to reload? If I take my last injection Thursday, do I need to use the hcg on the weekend or not?

    If you take your last injection on Thurs morning, eat P2 VLCD Thurs and Fri. Saturday morning you are good to go to eat P3.

    I am curious why you are doing such a long cycle? You don't need to do 3 weeks of p3. You can actually do three weeks of p2, then do a minimum of one week of p3 then go right back to p2 and not have to load.

    If boredom is the problem, you aren't going to be any less bored with 3 weeks of p3.
    I was doing 3 and 3 because i read it was more recommended than the 2/1 to give your skin extra time to bounce back... so i just took that and ran with it. am i wrong in that assumption?

    yes. Your skin bouncing back also has to do with how much you lost at one time .... meaning it is often a longer harder recovery the more you lose at once ... 2/1 you lose about 10 pounds over that period of time ....

    Each to his own and no one way is probably "better" than the other ....

    Please let me know if you would think this is ok to do! I did Round 1 last summer. Lost 30 pounds in 40 days & stabilized perfectly in P3/P4. Started Round 2 Feb.4th at 1 pound below LIW. The clinic where I get my Hcg only does 40 day rounds. So I have 1 bottle of Hcg enough for 40 shots. I want to break that up. Can I take 20 injections; do 3 days VLCD & then do 3 weeks P3, then do another 20 injections; do another 3 days of VLCD & another 3 weeks of P3 & then go on to P4? To keep my Hcg viable do I need to go ahead & fill up the syringes & then freeze them? Thank you!

    I have done 3 rounds of HCG. Have done very well but have put on 5 pounds I can not get off with steak days or high protein days. I was thinking of doing a short round 2 or 3 weeks and then moving on to phase 3 or a couple weeks. I don't think this is what cycyling actually is but will I be ok by just doing this 1 short round. Any comments?

    Question P4 Question

    I read two different things. One says I can cycle after I've done full p2 and full 3 week p3, then something else says I have to do p4 before cycling. I never wanted to do p4 since I know I'm doing r2. I'm wrapping up p3r1 and stabilizing well. With a planned spring break trip looming, we want to start r2 after either 3 or 4 weeks on p3. My husband is itching to join me too. Thanks for any advice and experiences. Should I stay p3 for 3 or 4 weeks before p2r2? Thanks!

    Hi Betsey, I am interested in the answer to your question too.

    Universal or Ladysmart? Anyone?
    I thought i was going to cycle after 27 days in R2 P2 but it turned out to be an un- planned interruption bc I forgot to continue vlcd for those last 3 days...doy! So I hopped back into p2 after 4 days off HCG and things have been going well... In fact that little vacay from HCG started things moving along even better. So R1 was 43 days R 2 may go to 48 days...would I be able to cycle after this P3? If so, how long should it be? Or just take a long rest according to protocol, 4 wks ea of P3 &P4? I've lost 28 lbs in R1 and 18 so far in R2. Whaddaya think?
