I will be starting the second round of injections this coming Tuesday. I would love to tag onto this forum to help get and give support to all those beginning the protocol this month. Tiffini - if this is your "load day" you need to be eating fats... Lots of fats.. it doesnt make any real sense other than the fat in your system will help to ward off the side effects of the VLCD and the HCG when you start that portion of the program.. I had a friend all these the goodbye days... Eat all the foods you know you will miss and make it almost ceremonial these two days. But I mean almost force feed yourself foods you know arent good for you.. KNOW there is a different between fat and sugar.. You want fat for the first two days. Hamburgers, avacado, milk chocolate, nuts, Fried chicken etc... You have these two days to be bad and then the VLCD (very low calorie diet) will begin.. Hope this helps....
I start loading for my first round on Monday, but I feel like I got all my junk food out in the last week. I think I'm going to do a lot of walnuts and burgers and fries.
Mgambuti: any words of wisdom are helpful! I am worried that the extra grease in what I'm eating is going to upset my stomach in the first few days. Have you heard of that happening to anyone? If so I'm going to focus on foods with less grease.
SB- you can do less greasy foods. I actually stuck with walnuts, macadamia nuts and chocolate for my first load. I snuck in a burger but any excuse to eat cheesecake is a good source of fat =o). Avacado is a heatlhy fat.. I went with mostly healthy fats on my first load so I would stick with that if you feel more comfortable.. Again the fat is the important part.. doesnt have to be grease but also just dont confuse fat with sugar/sweet. A friend of mine made that mistake and just took in calories instead of getting the "fat loading".. I am by far no expert but I lost 47 pounds on my first round that lasted 48 days so it really does work if you stick with it and DON't CHEAT on the VLCD.. just tay focused on your goal and that pounds and the results will come I promise.
Mgambuti: Wow, 47lbs in 48days is awesome, great job!! I think I feel most comfortable with the same game plan for my loading, focusing on really the fat (nuts, avocados, etc) of what I'm eating versus just maximizing calories by grease. I just think for my body it makes more sense, and I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one with this game plan.
Hey guys. I'm totally new to HCG and am planning to start loading tomorrow. I'll be doing subcutaneous injections and just picked up my supplies from the pharmacy last night! I'm hoping to lose 20 pounds on this round (I've got about 30-40lbs to lose altogether). I'm really excited to get started and am hoping to be able to look to this forum for advice!
My naturopath doesn't prescribe a specific protocol, so I'm going to be following Dr. Simeon's diet as closely as possible... Does anyone have an opinion of doing his exact protocol vs. something different (ie mixing veggies, taking MCT, etc)?
Mgambuti - It seems like you've had an awesome 1st round! Are you willing to share any of the secrets to your success? What type of HCG did you use?
Hi this is Round 3 for me. Round 1 27 days I lost 18 lbs then I did a Round 2, 27 days and lost only 10 pounds..I was not ready but now I am doing Round 3 and I am psyched. Load day yesterday and today - ate pizza, beer, fish fry, french fries, cin rolls, cookies, donuts, avocado. I feel utterly sick right now and last night I could not sleep aI was so uncomfortable. I had heartburn which I had completely gotten rid of. I Love HCG and it truly works...I want to lose at least 20 more pounds and am doing a long round of 40 days. Stick to Protocol and you will lose..just remember how full and crappy you felt on load days...it is true..Nothing Tastes As Good As Skinny... Good Luck everyone..let's support each other
Hi everyone, I am starting my first round with my first loading day tomorrow April 2. I am totally excited and I have a great friend who is starting her second round tomorrow as well. I am new to the forum and have been checking out all of the newbie information and lots of the comments left by everyone! I am super excited because I have been struggling with weight since childhood. I have been doing well on my own with a loss of 45lbs since January but I also have to bust my butt and don't always see results. I am hoping this is the answer to my prayers, I have 95lbs left to lose.
Loading today and tomorrow. This is round 2 for me. Hope to lose 20 lbs (ish), it's more vanity at this point as my first round ended well within a normal BMI. My deal is that I work out 4-5 days a week, and I want that to be obvious; so if I flat out stall and it's been 21 days, I'm calling it good! Abnormal fat must (hopefully) be gone, and where evere that puts me, I'm, fine.
So I ate sweets and whatever else I wanted today, and I feel crappy tonight- physically and psychologically. I agree, skinny tastes and feels way better than this!!!
