I really did not want to think that eggs were the problem.

Kinda bummed but now looking real hard for a replacement breakfast item.
Currently doing a Whey Protein shake, not sure that will hold me till lunch.

Will see about LR again, did not work that well for me last round.
Ya know, I'm kind of with you on the LR thing. I seriously doubt I'm leptin resistant, but I do like the way of eating and I think it's working for me a little bit.... I don't know. Weight wise, I'm not sure, but hunger wise, I like it. I think just cutting out snacking and sticking to 3 meals a day is a good idea regardless.

I had to cut out eggs too. I just had to get over the whole "breakfast" foods idea and start preparing a little better the day before. My breakfasts usually consist of either 8oz ground beef or turkey, whatever I have on hand, just pan fried in CO, a chicken thigh or two and maybe some sauteed greens of some sort. I usually make extra food at dinner or cook up extra meat while I'm making dinner so I just pop it in the microwave for breakfast in the morning. It's a lot to eat, but if I do that, I don't get hungry almost all day. Today I ran out of meats so I just had ground beef and I'm not lasting like I normally do. I should have added a protein shake. I didn't think of it. I'm also thinking of testing just eating egg whites instead of the whole egg and see how I tolerate that.

I've been getting almost 90gms of protein in the morning. Killing my grocery bill though with how much meat I have to buy. I'm sticking to cheaper cuts of chicken like thighs and drum sticks that I can buy in big packages. I got a whole roasting chicken to throw in the crock pot. Found out that ground turkey has a higher protein content than ground beef so maybe I won't have to use as much and it's less fatty. Ugh. Losing weight didn't kill me, but trying to maintain the loss is probably going to do it!!!

I'm 2.0 over LIW today. Technically I should have done a steak day today. But three things kept me from that plan. One, TOM is due any time, which contributes to a fluctuation. Two, I didn't get to empty my bladder a second time before weighing, which I usually do. And the third is related, but I'll spare you the details. If tomorrow I'm still 2 or more over LIW, I'll do the steak day.

I realize I've been eating fewer veggies since the transition to P3. Need to get back to filling up on them!

I have been over the 2lb limit of my LID twice while on P3. Both times it was because I was out of town and not drinking enough water. I knew what caused it and did not worry about it. The next day I stayed on my normal diet eating and made sure I drank plenty of water, the extra lbs were gone by the next morning. I am on Day 15 of P3, and other than the 2 days have stayed right on my LID. I was shooting to get down to 185, but at 190 my ribs are starting to show, so that was enough, stopped there.

Ha SpecialK! Yes. It definitely looks like it's petering out!

I've had an awakening!! I think coconut oil was the culprit all along. I haven't used it for the past 2 days. On Wed I was 151.6 Today I weighed myself and I'm down to 148.0!!!!! HOLY WTF!!!! Only thing I did different, was cut out the CO. I even ate an apple yesterday, a berry protein shake, and a few sweet potato pieces at dinner. I'm PRAYING TO GOD this si the issue and I've finally figured it out. Today is tehcincally the last day of P3 for me, but since I haven't added in any suspect foods yet, I think I'll start taking it from here. If I stay the same, or drop even more over the weekend, I'll definitely know it was the CO. In the trash it goes!!!!! I am so floored I dont' even know what to do!!! I'm hoping this is it and not some crazy fluke. But I haven't been able to get below 150 for the past 2 weeks. Now all of the sudden I'm 2 pounds down from that in 2 days.

My weekend went a little awry! I went overboard on the starchy veggies and it bit me in the butt!! I made a crockpot recipe that was AWESOME, but full of root veggies like sweet potatoes, rutabagas, and parsnips in a parmasian cream sauce. Drool. It was soo good. And I guess eggs really are out of the questions for me. I made an egg frittata for breakfast Sunday. I didn't weigh myself all weekend, and then yesterday I mustered up the guts to get on the scale. 153. something!!! YIKES!!! But, not worries. Dropped back down to 149.2 this morning. So I can't complain. Guess it was the combo of starchy veggies and eggs. So as long as I know what did it and it comes back down, I can deal. Sticking to my usual menu of some kind of meat and a leafy green veggie for my meals. Been able to add in a Fage yogurt which is at least something different. And I seem to do ok with fruit. So, I have those little successes. But since I cut out the coconut oil, I've been able to drop back down if I happen to jump up. That wasn't happening before. I think as long as I stay in the 140's I'll be happy But the down side is, I'm obviously far from stable. Ugh.

We really wandered off, eh? I'm really steady, into P4 now. Yesterday I had a bad reaction to the NuvaRing (birth control), and was room-spinning dizzy and puking all day. That dropped me a full pound under LIW. Not a fun way to get there, but a nice treat this morning, anyway. I'll be starting Round 2 at the end of this month.

I've been doing some research on Intermittent Fasting and think it might be a good tool for me to use during P4 and ongoing post-HCG. I'd like to get/read the book "Eat, Stop, Eat," which basically says to do a couple of 24-hour fasts per week (skip breakfast and lunch two days a week, and don't overeat before or after to make up for it). It creates a calorie deficit and lets your body ramp up fat-burning during the fasting hours. I thought it was interesting and deserves a closer look, anyway.

    How y'all doing?
