Hmmmm.....I think I am going to have to get some magnesium citrate though as I am beginning to feel a bit "full" in the gut (not to be crude so maybe that is it.

I finally got my gut working right and feel so much better, lol. I think that's part of my loss today.

Congrats Pam on the 10.4 lbs. in 3 days - WOWWWWW!!!! You are doing great!

Good luck Missy! I actually didn't know 3 days of preload was acceptable.

Mindi, I am glad today you feel better! I don't feel quite as hungry as yesterday morning, so I am hoping this means my dose is right now.

I hope so too! I'm all about experimenting this first round so I can get it right the second one!

I have to figure out how to do that ticker thing at the bottom of my post....any help?

    Have a great day everyone!

Well today is VLCD3 for me and I am down another 1.5 pounds. Yea I am losing slow but it is better than not losing at all. I just love this diet it makes me feel full all the time. I just cant wait for TOM to go off. I plan on adding a little exercise to the program. Also I am a smoker and I done slowed down to one a day because when I smoke it makes me sick so that a good thing, I know I will stop eventually. Dont plan on buying no more when this pack is gone.

I'm a smoker too! And it DOES make me sick to smoke as well, I've went from one pack a day to 1/2 a pack (and even then I'm stubbing 1/2 of each cig.) a day. When I hit P3, I am getting on Chantix (IDK the spelling, lol) and will quit for good! P3 is when I will start my new shift at work so I think the change will help me change!

Hello everyone, Today I am down 1.6 lbs. I will take that! I know I am not going to have huge losses even in the beginning like most do but I am happy with what I am loosing. With having had the two surgeries in the last 8 months (spine fusion, tailbone removed) and being in bed every few hours I know I do not burn the calories most do in working an 8 hour day and being up and around. That is why I am so happy with this option, since I can't do cardio and lift over 20 lbs. I finally am not having horrific headaches all day today. Congrats on everyone's losses. Even .5lbs seems great to me, since with most diets and exercise plans they say you average 1-2 lbs. a week, and if I have read correctly everyone goes up and down on how much they loose each day, not being regular with bowels and not getting enough sleep also play into it. I struggle with sleeping since my pain wakes me up several times a night to reposition, so I figure that will probably play into my loss a little. So glad to be making it another day!

Are people not using lotion and things like that?

Dr. S says no lotions or oils/fatty substances, but all lotions whether oil free or not have fatty substances (e.g., emulsifiers and thickeners which are typically made from fatty acids). I can make a lotion with an ester as the "oil" in it, but it will still have an emulsifier.

Last round I suffered and only used baby oil for moisture and my hands were cracked and painful. This round I decided to try Curel Original fragrance free because the clinic I went to shows it as a safe option, and my 5-yr-old son has eczema so I needed something safe to smear on him too without wearing gloves. I have smeared it all over me for 3 days and had good losses, 12 pounds in 11 days. If you try it be sure to get fragrance free because the other formula has shea butter in it. I also use Secret deodorant, which shows castor oil in the ingredients list, with no problems. Tres Semme shampoo and conditioner, Barbasol shave cream on my legs, and suave wild cherry blossom body wash for showering. Neutrogena oil free moisturizer on my face and oil free foundation. My lipstick has oils in it but it doesn't affect me. Some people used their everyday products and have no problems. I tried Dove soap on my last round and gained 1.2 pounds that day. It could have been something else, but I couldn't identify anything I did incorrectly. I am so glad I found the lotion though. I may be cold but at least my skin is silky smooth and I can shake people's hands without embarrassment this round!

Mindi- Woohoo! Congrats on getting below 200! That's awesome!

katie - Congrats on the loss and the diminishing headaches. That's good news!

w-t-l- I'm using Nate's lotion for the body. Ordered it online. I use Neutrogena Oil-Free products for my face. No change as far as shampoo/conditioner.

Mindi - How cool that you actually get to eat more! LOL! I use thedailyplate.com to log my food. Love it!

Thos are great losses, caligirl! Wow! I need to look into that Curel, also. Thanks for the tip.

I'm a smoker, too...I don't recall feeling sick last go-round. Boy, that would actually be nice to knock that vice out while losing weight!

Thanks Caligirl and Michmich. I'll just make a lotion with an MCT and an ester and use it on my face and body. I have dry skin and cannot go without lotion. I also cannot go without conditioner as I have dry hair. Hopefully I won't have too much impact

I at my lunch. I was feeling a little hungry as it was closer to lunch, but once I ate I was fine. I'm having my second cup of tea and making my way through my 2nd 24oz bottle of water. Still feeling very good so far.
