My mother-in-law (who lives with us) is eating a plate of yesterday's leftovers while my chicken and asparagus are cooking. She said how good her's was. I told her to enjoy it but keep it to herself, I don't need to be tortured. So far my VLCD day 1 has gone fairly well. I was a bit hungry late this afternoon and realized I wasn't drinking any water. After a glass of water I felt much better. I gained 2.8 on loading - hopefully it will be gone tomorrow.

Round 1 – lost 31.8 pounds in a long (60 day) P2, stabilized very well in P3. P4 lasted 4 months due to dd’s wedding, moving and holidays.
Round 2 – Started loading 12/31/11 – Beginning weight was exactly where I ended R1 four months ago 218.2 Lost 16.2
Round 3 - Gained the 16 back plus one. I know where I went wrong so here goes again. Starting WT 219 on 7/21/12

move! But this morning only a Jimmy Dean breakfast bowl of 23g I need to eat more today. I HATE LOADING.
I only gained .8 of a pound after my first loading day. I coudn't believe it, because I REALLY ate! My clinic advised that I eat something every 30 minutes, and that it be high fat. Well I did! I'm thinking that maybe the high fat content fills us up faster, so in the long run, we end up eating less - even though we feel like we're bursting out the seams!

I am so glad I came on here tonight. Thank you for the taco salad idea. DUH. I have no idea why I hadn't thought of that. I love taco salad and it's nice to have a little variety. I just texted to DH to pick up some cilantro on the way home so I can make some tomato/onion/cilantro salsa. YUM!

So today was another great day. I'm not hungry during the day, at all! It's great! I am finding that at night when I lay down to go to bed my tummy starts rumbling. Also, I have been FREEZING! Am I the only one who could freeze water with one touch? I had to take a hot bath last night, and that helped.

So, even though I haven't actually had cravings since the first vlcd - I found myself making a list of all the foods I want on my next loading day. Things I wish I would have eaten this last week and don't want to forget about, lol. It really is pathetic!

Good luck, everyone! I LOVE how active this thread is. It's so inspirational to come on each day and read through the posts. Let's keep it up!!

WooHOO..down 5.2 pounds after first VLCD!

Of course most of that wasn't there before loading, but I'll take it. As long as the scale keeps heading in that direction, I will be one happy camper!

I TOTALLY agree that it is best to tell as few of people as you can. I made the mistake of commenting to a friend that stated she wanted to lose weight on Facebook about HCG and then I was attacked by people that don't even know me. All I know is this diet has worked for me, family members and many more here on this forum. That is all I have ever told anyone and then suggest that they research it for themselves.

Okay, so I just made a taco salad for dinner and it was delicious! I kind of feel like I cheated though because it was such a big meal (comparitively speaking). Also, I mixed veggies to make the salsa. I'm skipping my fruit tonight in hopes that it levels everything out. I'll be really bummed if it keeps me from losing.

Anyhow, for those looking for meal ideas - I just took my 7% ground beef, cooked it with some legal taco seasoning and then used it to top 2 handfuls of shreds lettuce. The salsa was tomato, onion, cilantro, lemon (just a tiny bit), italian seasoning, salt and garlic. I topped the lettuce with three big spoonfuls of the salsa. My clinic's guide says I can have 2 handfuls of lettuce - but adding the salsa probably wasn't the best idea. Still though, lettuce and meat just won't cut it.

    Hopefully tomorrow's results are good!

I mix veggies too for salsa, had no problems with it before as long as they were approved veggies. If you are nervous about it a lot of us have used garlic and onion powder with tomatoes for flavor. Taco salad is tomorrow! Hoping for a drop tomorrow...I have been peeing all day!!!!!

Yes, I agree. Tell no one about this diet, they immediately think you are a freak. BUT, I have PCOS and this diet got me to ovulate around day 40 and end up with a beautiful baby boy who is now 4 mos old. I KNOW this diet is loved by my body and I cannot wait to do another round!
