I'm not so crazy about steak days, for starters I really miss my BAB... and last round I could feel the steak going all the way thru my plumbing, which scared the garbageman off for a couple of days
I had 2 very succulent beefsteaks this time and I had no problem at all eating it, so it should be better now, also - as a prevention - I had psylliumhusk before and after eating it to help it go down.
Of course - my luck - I had the steaks thawing on the counter when the garbageman rang the doorbell and hauled off about 3 days worth of garbage, which might have solved my problem without the steak day.
I nearly drowned myself drinking a gallon of water, twice what I normally drink, so I'd better wake up to a huge loss in the morning, or else...
Hmmm.... I think I'll take another look at that Leptin Reset, seems like lots of ppl here are doing it.
With your hight you should easily be able to reach 130, and of course it's possible. Question is, once you get down to 140 you might not even want to lose more. When you feel good about yourself is more important than the weight.
I don't eat fruit either but that's because I'm sorta doing Atkins Induction and fruit has too many carbs in that phase. BUT... strawberries are on sale this week so I'm absolutely gonna get some, even if I have to freeze them for a later date. They get soggy when frozen, but still make a great sauce!

Good morning ladies! I am really enjoying phase 3! I have been 1 pound over LDW the last couple days so that has been nice. I stabilized 1 pound over last round too. It's so funny because I stress out all day about if I eat this or that will it make me gain?!?! After the first week it should be pretty easy sailing...once I get more comfortable with new foods. I have been eating around 1200-1300 calories a day and feel stuffed!
Maybe I'll give wine another shot this weekend. I think I'll try a red wine since last time I tried a blush wine which probably has more sugar. We are going to celebrate our anniversary this weekend at the melting pot! I love fondue! I'm just sad I can't have the chocolate fondue dessert!

Great job stabilizing Lindsay! It's amazing when we eat "healthy", with lots of vegetables, how full we get on so little calories huh? And Happy Anniversary to you and your husband! I love Melting Pot! Too bad they don't have a cocoa crack version of their chocolate fondue! Happy fondue-ing.

Guninan- 2.6 whoot whoot!! and can you send your garbage man to my house, mine went on strikeyes Im planning on doing the Leptin restart too, been reading all about it and it sounds great.
Isabella- I agree I think folks are trying to get us to stop when they keep telling is we are skinny, but I just tell them my goal is to be normal on the BMI range and not overweight which I still am on that chart....that usually shuts them up hahahahah...also some of my friends are insecure about me being "skinnier"than them...thats silly I can see now but I have to confess inside I felt that way about a few friends in the past too, I later admired them though and so its kinda a love /hate thing.....I think its mostly an internal thing of accepting ourselves and not comparing, which on here we have such close support I think the acceptance of our own weight and weight loss is soooooo healthy I wish it were the same out in the real world too. Untill Im in my normal BMI though at least I have my great comeback when folks start telling me Im to skinny hehehe
Under 150 by 50- I was gonna do two rounds but as you can see I just extended my round till I get to goal...its boring as heck but Im determined....I hope it doesnt affect resetting but we will see....I just saw the light in the tunnel and went for it hahahahahaha...losses are still good to so why not!
Mastifflur-Yeah you can tell folks are treating you different too huh? I think thats sad, I hope its because IM acting different not because folks are interested in me more now...I have always been a person who runs to the one who needs to be lifted up..., I cant say the underdog as thats not how I look at people but say Im at a party I will make sure everyone is having fun and hang with those who seem left out by the crowds...now it looks like my personal life will be getting a new look too ...hmmmm not sure how I would react if I was on the IN crowd...thats foreign territory to me....folks better let me bring my dear friends too hahahahaha....lol dont I sound like im talking JR high
Zoerba- Im not embarrassed yet but I was when that singer commented on my new look I almost feel off my heals hahahah its funny how not getting any attention or just from friends affects you when all the sudden everyone is looking hahahahaha
ohhhh and Ive been eating out with friends too and I love smelling their food, no cravings like I thought I would have so I just eat MY food and watch them eat the restaurant food....cant wait till I join them but I keep telling myself its just for a season...They actually get a kick out of our dates together as they cant believe I can smell sooo good all the dishes around us hahahaha

I need to lose 4 more pounds to get my BMI to normal, but then I will be at the very tip top of normal and who wants to stay there? I want to be somewhere in the middle of normal...so that's still another 20 pounds to go! Ah well, maybe during the summer when I'm sitting out at the pool in my bikini. Dieting is so much easier in the summer...except for the margaritas, mojitos, mai tai's, and tequila sunrises!
I am finally through one of my last two weeks, but dang, it has taken me 4 days just to push down through 149! I thought for sure I would wake up to 148 point something! Oh well, should hit it tomorrow. Really hoping to make it to 145 so I'll have to be super duper strict and hope for a big WHOOSH!

Guinan--I think you will find the Adkins and Leptin Reset are not too different except for the timing of the bab...and it is alot of protein in the morning, but you can include some of that wonderful kaas I envy!

Good job stabelizing!! Sheesh, I wouldn't know how many calories I eat, I think I have about 1000 for breakfst alone! I just don't count calories when I'm on lowcarb, I just gorge on butter and mayo and cream LOL
I don't think I'll be trying wine this weekend. Once I open a bottle I get kinda carried away, so I'd just better not even have it in the house at all. Perhaps in P4.
I have a bit more to go than that, 9 pounds to go till I'm in the 'normal' range. But hey, 2 years ago I was 227, well into 'obese'. Then I spent nearly a year on Atkins with a result of some 22 pounds, and the rest I owe to HCG. Boy, am I ever glad I discovered it!
I'll read up on the LR a bit more, don't even know that I'm Leptin Resistant. Woot! Eggs, bacon and cheese *drooling* just no tomato. And since I don't have that much left to lose I can even have 50 carbs! Sounds like the best of both worlds
Good loss! And I wouldn't have a steak day unless it's absolutely neccessary either, but I had been gaining 2 days in a row after a big fat zero, so I was feeling kinda drastic
... and if I could just remember the exact date I finally booted TOM out, I'd declare it a national holiday!
