Hi everyone! I too am loading 12/31 and 1/1 and can't wait. It's my 3rd true round (2nd one didn't actually happen) and I have lost 52lbs on hhcg (homeopathic sub drops). Looking to lose that last 30+! If anyone needs any help please feel free to email me as I have found many tips to help us stay motivated and be successful. Looking forward to all of your stories of success! Let 2012 be your year! Happy and HEALTHY New Year to you all!
Debbi ~ Your losses are very inspiring! Congrats and welcome! Yay! We are loading the same days, any certain foods your loading on? I am surprised to see you couldn't get your head in the game on Round 2, I would think that most would be so excited to start losing again that they may try "too" hard if there is such thing!? Can you share your experience!? I wonder because this will be my second round, and the more knowledge I have, the better!!
We both have about 40 to lose! Wanna race!? hehe. Are you doing a long/short round?!
Thanks in advance!
Thanks! My second round I had too much going on with my son graduating college, moving him from Fla back to Chicago (brrrr) for his job and just could not get my arms around it. However, my 3rd round (most recent but I call it my true 2nd) was phenomenal. I really set myself up to win. I lost 30lbs and went a little longer than most 59 days on hhcg drops. What really helped me was planning my meals for the week - I cooked chicken, talapia and ground turkey meatballs one night during the week and portioned them out (weighed them of course - pre cooked) into baggies and froze them. This way I had all of my protein ready to go so all I had to do was slice up a cucumber, steam some spinach, slice a tomato, etc.
I would love a partner for the last 40lbs - think it will be closer to 30-35 for me as I don't know if my body will ever really be what it was like when I was in college (3 grown children ago LOL). Probably doing another long round depending on my successes and how fast my losses are. Everyone I have talked to says the last few lbs sometimes takes longer as you don't have that much fat to lose.
Loading on omelet with vegies and cheese, prob something with more cheese, cream or olive oil for dinner and of course cheesecake, my favorite. Will not be loading with any carbs though as my body and carbs are not friends at all..haha. What do your load days look like?
ps see you are from Orlando. My youngest is graduating hs this May and heading to UCF...Go Knights!
