    Yikes! I had an accidental cheat yesterday and today. A friend at work had heard me complaining about eating boring chicken breast so she brout me some carribean jerk spice rub in a baggy. She said she had checked and that it was sugar free. So anyways, I had it on my chicken last night and for lunch today. Dang was it good! Well tonight I checked the scale and it was up 5 pounds from this morning! That has never happened. I've had a 3 pound gain, but nothing more. Anyhow, I googles the spice and brand and, while there are no sugars listed on the nutritional label, it's certainly in the ingredients list. . My mistake for not doing my research before eating it. I am pretty bummed because I know I'm going to see a 2-3 gain tomorrow. I just hope it comes back off quick because I'm almost done with this round and really hope to get to -25 pounds.

    On a positive note, I got a ton of compliments on my weight loss today. People are really noticing and it makes me feel so good!

    Oh nooooooooooooo! 5 pounds?? Well hopefully it's just a one day gain that comes right back down. Might take a day or two, gains always do, but if it was just a reaction to something you ate, it should come off easily. I mean a little sugar in a spice shouldn't be more than what a piece of fruit has and we can have that (even if we don't eat it most of the time :/) I'd try drinking TONS of water to flush it out. Or maybe it's just your scale acting up??

    Down .8 this morning! It took 3 DAYS! to get that stupid 1.1 gain I had off! Eight more days until I either end this round OR have a planned interruption, and starting back in for another 10 days. Still undecided what I want to do on that .

    Well, up 2.2 this morning, just as I had predicted. I feel bloated more than anything, so I'm sure it is just a reaction to the sugar. Hopefully if I do as you said, Isabella, and drink a ton of water, I can get it back down! It really is too bad because that spice was so yummy! I knew it tasted too good to be true .

    I'm with everyone else on the temptation thing. It's my DH birthday and we're having a party for him tonight. I made all the food and the the cake from scratch yesterday. Man it is hard to cook when you can't taste. The cake and the frosting and the raspberry filling and the chocolate ganache filling. Ugh. So I had chicken breast in the crockpot for the enchiladas I was making. I kept getting in the chicken. At least I cheated with stuff on the food list but who knows how many extra calories it was. So I didn't gain but I didn't lose so maybe I didn't screw up too bad.

    However, I still have to get through the party tonight, dinner out with DH tomm. night and Superbowl Sunday. Wow! I just keep telling myself 3lbs to go. Just 3lbs. I'm going to freeze a piece of cake so I can taste it in a month or so. LOL. It looks so good!

    Yeah! Down 0.6 today. Finally a bit of a loss. It took me forever to get to sleep last night. It was well after midnight and I even took ½ of a Benedryl. I guess when it finally kicked in I fell asleep and then slept great. I didn’t get up until after 9 this morning. I really need to try to get to sleep earlier, I don’t like sleeping half the morning away.

    It’s going to be interesting as many of us get to P3 in the next few weeks. I sure am looking forward to it this time. I remember being worried about P3 during my first round. I don’t think I could do a really long round again, I’m too ready for P3. I’m not exactly sure how long my drops are going to last. I think I have enough to get to Wednesday, my planned last day. If not, I’ll just end sooner. But I’m not going any longer than that, even if I have some drops left. I want to be in P3 by next weekend.

    I was looking at my P3 notes I took and I ate a lot of eggs and bacon (have to find sugar free bacon). Mug muffins and greek yogurt with blueberries. It seems like I ate out a lot which won’t happen so much this time. We were getting close to our daughter’s wedding and our move back then so I didn’t have time to cook much. But I made good choices, left out the sugar and carbs and stabilized very well. Yummmmmm P3 dreams…

    Costco's low-salt bacon has no sugar. I like mine a bit saltier but I just add some when I'm cooking it.
