Question: I think high fat makes me feel very sick. Like when I eat full fat fage, I always get a stomach ache. Today I had some 2% fage, macadamia nuts, and Coconut oil and boy do I feel sick. Why would those make me feel so bad?
After going without fat for so long, it's kind of a "shock" to your stomach, gallbladder and liver. That's why I don't go full on fat right away in p3, I ease into it even more than other people tend to. Your system is basically suddenly over-saturated with fat compared to during the VLCD. Coconut oil is often a culprit of nausea too, because in theory, it kills off overgrown candida and other unhelpful microbes and this die off can cause stomach disruptions.

If you start feeling pain in the upper right side of your abdomen, kind of a stabbing pain that seems to shoots through your upper back- it's most likely the gallbladder, so watch for that, and take it easy.

DISCLAIMER: I mostly follow Dr. Simeons protocol however, I may talk about things that are not advised in his book Pounds and Inches. Those things or items have neutral affect on me personally and do not effect my weight loss in an unfavorable way, however. I will attempt to note when something I mention is "off protocol".

YUM! I make something kind of like that, but I use mostly almond flour and only a TB or so of coconut flour. I also add chicken (no sweetener either) ...and it tastes JUST like those crackers... remember Chicken In A Biskit? ya. soo good.

I admit it, I am rogue. I mostly follow P&I, but I do have a glass of wine every now and then.

I'm gonna vent for a minute about something totally off subject! It drives me nuts the way some people "take care" of themselves. Hubby's cousin and her family are horrible (and she and her hubby set an awful example). She refuses to diet but will exercise on occasion. She just made some dish with chicken wrapped in crescent rolls, covered with cream of something or other and loaded with cheese (she did comment that she used low fat cream of chicken and half the cheese.....but proceeded to say she used the big crescent rolls) and was bragging about the family loving it and wanting 2nd's and 3rd's. One day she posted a pic on facebook of a huge bowl of fresh cookies and huge scoop of ice cream, and she had just "went to the gym" that night. She and her hubby are both HEAVY, their preteen girls are heavier than they should be. These are just awful examples to be setting.
