    Hey Everyone..

So I am by no means a pro at this, but I have read Pounds n' Inches, the KT book and have done A LOT of pursuing this site.. And, for what its worth wanted to give my 2 cents when it came to loading. Im on day 4 of the VLCD and in retrospect, would have changed some things I did with loading. After consulting all these different threads/sources I was a little confused... I wanted to treat the Load days 'with care' only eating good fats and an atkins type protocal, but, totally went off the deep end and had way to much CRAP (cookies, chocolate, etc). I eat all organic and gluten free, but still.. i gained 7 POUNDS on my load and it has not come off yet! Granted, I have not experienced hunger that much, but who is to say... seems like its a fine balance between dosing, etc. when it comes to that one...

If I ever do this again, i will take the HCG (im doing injections) for two days while eating a normal-ish but HEALTHY FAT laden diet before the VLCD days. I would not recommend going 'kid in candy land'. Made me feel SO sick and also gave me a horrible candida flare-up.

I think the KTrudeau protocal of cleansing a bit before the load is super important because its often Candida that leads to hunger feelings and sugar cravings. Weird that a little yeast (parasite, in my opinion) can actually influence the way you feel but it does! ive had so much experience with candida and when i do a good job of ridding myself of it, my hunger cravings and sugar cravings totally change from wanting crap to wanting good, nourishing food.

Just wanted to drop in to say, if I had found a post that said be careful on your load days, treat them with care and prepare your body well by sticking to healthy fats and avoiding carbs, sugar... I would have been grateful! So thought I'd make one!

    Good Morning,
Today is my first loading day, anyone else starting in July?

Also, how much weight can you expect to gain by loading?

    Hello there.
I'm on my second loading day. I don't know about you - but I do NOT want to eat. Weird huh?? I'm just not hungry - but I'm eating anyway. This is my first round. Want to be successful. I have just never had lack of hunger like this. It's strange for me. From what I've seen from lurking around on these boards - you can gain anywhere from 0 to 5 pounds from the loading days on your first round. I may be way off here -- but that's what I have seen so far. I LOST weight yesterday - my first loading day -- even though I ate a lot.

    Hi All,

I am doing HCG drops from DIYHCG.com
    Here are my stats:

    07/03-LD1-185.6
    07/04-LD2-188.6
    07/05-VLCD-1-187.2
    07/06-VLCD-2-183.8

I am a guy trying to lose 25 lbs.
I tried HCG 2 years back. Was 191 lbs ,lost 26 lbs.gained back most of it.I think I didn't follow the P2 protocol well during the last 3 VLCD days and also didn't follow the protocol in P-3.

I think with loads of coffee with stevia and huge apple and cucumber, I am able to satisfy my hunger.
Also it's just my 2nd VLCD.So hopefully the drops are working.

All the best to you all.Hope you all achieve what you are looking for...Go for it!!!!
    GOD BLESS!!!!
    Peter

Quick question! Today is my very first day loading so I so ready to get to the part where I can feel like I am doing something. Because as nice as loading is, I feel like I am breaking every dieting law ever written.

With that being said, when you are loading is it okay to exercise? I usually do a spin class 3x a week and when I do that its a 600 calorie burn. I don't want to burn off what I am supposed to be storing. Or do you guys think it would be okay to continue?

I'm on my second day of loading. I did this diet last August and lost over 20 pounds--can't remember how much--I guess I could go back on this board and check. I've tried to do it several times since, but usually quit after a week or so, but it has kept the weight down. Haven't weighed for a few weeks and don't plan on it for a few more weeks as it will discourage me if I've gained much back. BUT I feel better on this diet than I've ever felt when I stick to it. Oh--I guess I lost 25 pounds last time--as I started at 248 and ended at 223 after 30 days.

The drops helped me with hot flashes, depression and HEAT in the summer--so I'm hoping I'll start feeling better once I'm into this full force. I've been feeling really crappy.

As for loading--my first load, I lost 6 pounds--but I gave up diet coke on it. My second load, I gained 6 pounds and it discouraged me and I never recovered--so I say go easy on it. For the one who asked about spinning, I noticed someone on the june 2011 loading group who is doing 1000 to 1500 calories a day and working out. You might go check if she has said anything more about it. I tried walking with my first round and I could only do 2 miles a day or I was exhausted and needed more food. So--I think it is more about going with how you feel.

For more info always read Grammy's threads and ask her questions--she is an expert.

Today is also my 2nd load day. I, like you, have not wanted to eat but had to kind of force myself. Eating a lot of cheese & sausage and almonds (and strawberries). Will have a cup of smooth move tea before bed and put some coconut oil in it. I'm no expert and am likely to make a lot of mistakes, but that's why we're all here, right?

Loading Day #2, I feel like complete crap. I thought that this was going to be the easy part. Is it bad that I am actually looking forward to the VLCD part? eek.

I asked a question about my spinning in the Grammy thread, but it was overlooked to talk about nuts.
