Hi everyone! I will start loading on Saturday. I am now at 280.4 lbs and turning 45 next week so I can't wait to see all of the results! Anyways, I am glad to have friends starting in the same time period! I am curious, how much food did you all stock up on? Are you buying for 1 week or 2 weeks at a time?

I start day one of P1 tomorrow. This is my first time to try HCG. I'm doing this through my doctor's office and hope to have the success that their other patients have had. I'm 156#, 5'5", 44 yrs old. My goal is to get to 130# and stabilize there. I went to Whole Foods (or "whole paycheck" as we call it here in Austin), and picked up some deodorant, shampoo, conditioner and toothpaste -- all brands that are supposed to be P2 friendly. Can I wait until P2 to use them, or should I start using them tomorrow (when I start P1)? Also, do I need to use any particular handsoap at work (in restroom), or do I need to take my own soap?? Thanks in advance for any replies.

~Hey All!! I start my load tomorrow and I am sooo excited to get this started. Good luck all. I'll be checking back with you guys. I am 172 lbs and I can't believe it. My husband is getting on the band wagon with me. Should be interesting with him being a chef. Any ideas or suggestions would be great. I'm wondering about how many drops I should take? The pamphlet that came with the drops said to take 25 drops before meals but I have seen many other people in the forum who take much less so I am just curious. Georgi

Callie-I am an organized person and knew that i had to make it as easy as possible on myself if I'm going to stay true to the protocol. I bought a variety of meats and spent less than an hour on the night before loading to weigh and portion all of it off, store in individual ziploc baggies and froze them. I have 24 meat portions including: filet, chicken breasts, 96% lean ground beef, flank steak and veal medallions. I'll buy some fish and shrimp and do the same. For fruit and vegetables, I will buy a 3-4 day supply at a time for freshness. I went to a specialty spice shop so I could buy smaller amounts of a variety of spices and there weren't any fillers or no no's added. I also bought 5 different stevias (plain and different flavors-all Sweet Leaf) to experiment with for flavored beverages and other recipes in the "101 Worry Free HCG Diet Recipes" book.
Lisa in Austin-I too went to Whole Foods and bought a safe body cleanser, Tom's toothpaste, aloe vera gel for body moisturizer, and Alba face wash, oil free moisturizer and eye gel. I got the Bumble and Bumble seaweed shampoo and conditioner. My skin is not loving the new products as I am used to high end department store cosmetics, but it will have to do! The aloe vera gel isn't cutting it for my dry skin, so I have been using baby oil which even though it is terrible (mineral oil), it works wonders for keeping my snake skin soft and it's a great eye makeup remover! The aloe was sticky. I started using everything on Day 1 of loading. At work, I'm avoiding using the provided hand soap as I have no idea what is in it. I'm just using water and then I finish with a hand wipe. I'm even using my Alba facewash as handsoap at home, just to be safe!
Jearnee-OMG! Have your chef husband check out the recipe book I mentioned for basic ideas and then I am sure that he will be able to improvise from there! My BF went out of town yesterday for 2 weeks to visit family so that is helpful for me to avoid temptation of going out and watching him eat all the things I can't have!

I'm a little late joining this thread, since I just finished my second day of loading for Round 2. I gained 1.4 lbs the first day, and am getting ready to hit the sack now, and see what the scale says in the morning. It's discouraging to see those numbers go up after working so hard to make them go down, but I know it's important for getting the most out of your HCG once you start the VLCD. I'm doing the Rx injections for the first time (last round was hhcg drops) and I really don't know what to expect. I am pleased at how practically painless the injections are, though! Anyway, good luck to everybody!

Lisa-I think that most hair gels and sprays are fine as they shouldn't have oil in them. Check your labels. I was surprised that a lot of hair conditioners are oil free! I'm using my regular styling products but did have to cut out the Moroccan Oil. Someone said that they used rubber gloves to apply it, but then you still might touch your hair to style it so I figured it wasn't 'safe'. You lost too so that's great!
