Ha!, I was thinking of that as well. I use a pea protein shake (no soaking involved) - gluten free - by 'Peaceful Planet' - mine is French Vanilla 'unsweetened' - has maltodextrin and stevia, but I think can be called 'unsweetened' because the amounts are so small <1g sugars per serving -

I'm a vegetarian, too. I've been doing egg whites for my protein. I fry them without anything else in the pan, they stick a little but otherwise it's okay. I use 8-10 per meal, which is 136-170 calories and 30-36g of protein per meal. A little salt and pepper for flavor and sometimes a splash of apple cider vinegar (sounds weird but egg whites get really boring after a while)! It's monotonous but it appears to be working okay.
Being vegetarian is good.I am also a vegetarian and its good to be vegetarian as compared to non-veg.
I am purely vegetarian. I dont like even egg. I am glad that there is vegetarian thread as well in this forum. I would love to receive updates about cooking & different recipes from everyone. Thanks for this post.
