1. Not on the original Simeons protocol, I wish there were. I'm getting about 50-60g protein per day but I usually eat much closer to 100g, so it's a huge drop for me.
2. I have avoided all Quorn products because of the wheat protein, whey protein concentrate and canola oil - all no-nos. I am still trying to decide if I want to eat Naked Chik'n Cutlets on P3.
3. I am eating 200-300g of egg whites for lunch and dinner. No yolks. I was drinking whey protein isolate for dinner but my weight loss stopped so I went back to eggs whites at both meals. I am so tired of egg whites I cannot even tell you!
4. I haven't been eating any dairy aside from 1T of fat free milk. While it's allowed on the original protocol it can cut your weight loss in half and I wasn't willing to take that chance.
5. The have soy lecithin, too. I bet they had neither in Simeons' day.
Disclaimers: this is R1 for me but I've been a vegetarian since 1988, if that matters. Also, I'm on day 32 but my weight loss has been stalled for more than a week now; I don't know if that's a result of my menu or not.
Edit: actually I'm down today, so maybe the stall is over (I hope)? 21% of the way to my goal!
