Breakfast - Plant Protein Shake w/almond milk and strawberries and a tomato. About 200 calories and 22g protein.

Dinner - Veggie Beef with Garlic Asparagus about 150 calories and 22g protein.

So I am curious. I am not a fruit or cracker person, so do others just increase the meat and veggie options to make each meal closer to 250 twice daily?

You could try putting the fruit in with your protein shake. I never eat the melba or grisini thing.

i loaded yesterday and today. i feel like crap cause I got fries at 5guys and maybe their oil needed changing? I dunno. i had goat cheese, nuts, and latr tonight when I feel better, I'm going to polish off my coconut milk ice cream (mmmm pomgranate chip mmmmm) and probably some cookies. I might even try a slice of pizza if I can find a place w/slices. i almost wish tomorrow was day two cause there is a street fest I know I can find pizza there. Yesterday i probably shouldn't even count as a load day. all I had was a bunch of nuts and some goat gouda & tortilla chips that were high fat. oh. avocado too. it's hard to eat junk if you don't eat lots of junk normally.
my pellets came today too so my drops which are almost gone I can finish off in the next few days....... we'll see. i lost 2 lbs between yesterday's weigh and todays, so maybe I should load one more day. ???

I just use Jay Robb Whey Protein Shakes:

25g protein (per scoop) - allowance for hCG diet is 60-75g per day
    1g carbohydrates
    0 fat
    0 trans fat

Since I'm in P2 I only have tea (or coffee) for breakfast. And then I either have a protein shake or 1 whole egg + 3 egg whites OR some cottage cheese for lunch, dinner or both. Also I drink at least 2 litres of water per day and just go walking for at least 1/2 hour at least 3 times per week after work. I'm currently at a stall, but at least I'm not gaining

    Hello,

I'm on my first VLC day today and am wondering how everything turned out for you guys? I just realized mixing veggies is no no so there went my plan to do green smoothies with my veggie and fruit allowances for the day. So I've planned my menu with chicken and shrimp until I find a good protein powder. I would love to hear from you guys

I use the sun warrior protein powder, it's raw and vegan. It's also disgusting, but I keep playing with it. I finally have it down where I like it. I use my tassimo and do a "morning roast" coffee. I pour that into my blender and do a little over 1 scoop of choco (i have all the flavors but choco is the best) i then do 6 shakes of powder stevia, and if i really want i'll do a couple drops of dark choco stevia liquid. I blend that up. I dont use silk or almond milk or even plain water, i mix it with my coffee. If it's a day where i have time, i'll do a baked apple with stevia powder and cinnamon, and with my hot drink and hot apple...i pretend i'm in my favorite coffee shop. And yes, i drink the protein drink hot.

Thank you for weighing in PugMommy It sucks the sun warrior is gross. It sounds perfect if it is raw AND vegan. Has using it affected your weight loss?

I like to have green vegetables & fresh fruits in salad & after food. They are best for digestion & best source of energy & keeps skin hydrated. Dairy products like curd is also included in my diet.
