Question Vegetarian - New to HCG - Protein shake recommendation

    Hello,

I just started on HCG, literally, I'm on day 1. I think I want to do a protein shake for lunch (maybe in combo with my fruit) and then veggie crumbles or sausage (Morningstar Farms) for dinner. Does anyone have a good protein powder recommendation? I've seen a few posts but some people are saying to avoid whey and I want to make sure I get a good one.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

I've heard good things about the Jay Robbs egg white protein powder.
I just ordered some, so I'll let you know how it goes.

I used the NZ Instant Whey Powder from Vitamin Cottage with no issues!

I was nervous because some people said they had issues with whey...I guess it just depends on the person! I'm getting nervous for P2!!

USed Jay Robb twice a day for 45 days and never a problem. I did Whey, not egg whites. It's great tasting and you can't find better with no sugar/carbs. Good luck.

Thanks! Is it available in stores or does it have to be purchased online?

You can get it on Amazon but if you have a Vitamin Shoppe near you, they all carry it at great prices. They have a website with all their locations....I find the amazon stores that have free shipping....You can also order directly from the Vitamin SHoppe online as well.

You might want to look at Healthy N Fit protein shakes too, while you are there. I like both.
