Vegetarians and Hair Loss - What are your experiences?

I know there is a dedicated Hair Loss thread, but I'm specifically curious what outcomes the veggie community has had?

I can't think of many things worse than ending HCG, still being overweight AND having my hair fall out. I don't think I could take the humiliation. I feel like this could potentially be a concern for veggies, since we aren't eating the same variety of proteins as the meat eaters.

So, have you experienced hair loss and at what point in the diet?

If you've experienced hair loss on a previous round and managed to retain it this round, what did you differently?

If you haven't had this problem at all, did you take any supplements or other precautions specifically to avoid this?

I didn't experience any hair loss (thank goodness). I alternated egg whites with whey protein.

I did not have issues and did not take hair type supplements.

I was having a lot of hair loss since my baby was born ... 6 years ago. Got blood test to see if my hormones were out of wack or if it could be a gluten thing, but they said everything was normal. In P3 I started adding in extra virgin Coconut Oil and it stopped! I had heard about all the benefits of C.O. for other things, but not this. And yet, that is the first thing I noticed - fast too, about two weeks. Finally, no more gobs of hair in the drain after washing my hair! Maybe it will work for you.

My hairs are great, because I care for them by using olive oil in them before bath... Actually a bit downside during HCG diet is, I noticed my body hairs growing a bit.
