Weight is not moving what do I do?

I have had very slow or in the last few days days with 0 loss. I tried an apple day to move the weight one day and that helped, but I am back to no loss this morning. What do I do? There is another problem too ... I am very constipated as well. I am not sure if that will contribute to the scale not moving, but definitely need a way to fix that as well. Anybody have the same issues and tried something that helped? The last time I tried Milk of Magnesia, I gained the following day, so I do not think that it is an option for me.

Everybody hits a stall sooner or later. Over the past 37 days on P2, I have stalled 3 times, the last one was for 6 days. You just have to stay in there. It also helped me to re-read Dr. Simeon's protocol in the place where he talks about what is going on when you stall.

For constipation, try a senna tea such as Dieter's Delight or Smooth Move.

    You're welcome.

I've seen it at Vitamin Shoppe and at a large Food Lion. I'd look at any herb stores or grocery stores with more than the basics. More upscale ones are more likely to carry it, but like I said, I found it at one Food Lion which is a basic everyman kind of chain.

I use magnesium citrate. I take about 4 tablets at night and the next morning I'm having a BM. I don't drink the full bottle that some people buy (usually found in the laxative section in pharmacy's) I find that too "violent" for my system.

Sorry couldn't update yesterday, but I got the Yogi - get regular tea from Whole Foods. That helped me yesterday, but didn't have any bm this morning. But I couldn't get to eating dinner last night, so I am thinking that it might have been a cause. Do you know if it is ok to use the tea on a regular basis or every other day until things become regular?

BTW, yesterday I saw a 1.2 lb loss, which was gratifying.

Jenine - I did the Magnesium citrate in a bottle, but gained the following day. Is that your experience too? I've only tried it one day, so not a big experiment and I am proably not considering other factors.

Was that the whole bottle of Magnesium Citrate that you drank? I've done that a few years back when I wasn't on HCG. My system is slow so it didn't work right away like it said on the bottle. It took several hours and than I was in the bathroom for several hours with major diarrhea.

Last night I took 4 tablets and I'm still waiting to go this morning.

The gain may be because you have to have a bowel movement. If you don't go today try using an emema to clean yourself out.

I did 1/2 the prescribed dose to avoid cramps, but I had no effect any ways. i have never suffered from constipation problems ever and did not have these issues until last weekend's trip. While on the trip, I made sure I had enough water and ate by the book (packed up 4 boiled eggs from the BF bar at the motel and did the proetin shake for one meal -so no issues). But the veggies, I missed having them a couple of meals I guess. I though it was just the change of place, but it just refuses to regularise. I will try using an enema today and see if that reflest well on the scale tomorrow.

    Stalls are normal, but frustrating.
I am usually constipated if I don't drink the tea, but
sometimes a warm bath helps, too. Also, it usually takes at least
a day for a BM to come after the tea.

Thanks CloverLynn! I've tried the tea and it helps me when taken regularly I guess. I just think I have plateaued. I have not last any weight in the last 5 days, but am fluctuating around the same weight. Any suggestions on shaking up the plateau and move on at all? My doc thinks that my body might have become immune to hcg and it might be time for me to move on to phase 3 but if there are any other suggestions I will take it. I thought of taking a planned cheat day and resuming to see if that would help, has anybody ever tried that before? I had lost over 15 lbs in 20 days and today is day 25 still there at a little over 15 lbs. Need help and would love to get rid of another 10lbs before I move onto phase 3. btw, the apple day yesterday moved my weight by a 0.3lb, back to my lowest I've been. Super disappointed!!
