    Hi ladies!

Tate, I was at my health food store today and I had to laugh about all of the things that I have purchased there because of you! I had her order in some Coconut Manna and cacao nibs for me after you posted about them, and then with the busyness of the holidays I forgot to go and and pick them up. Anyway, I got them today and OMG that is a tasty little treat! I also picked up some Braggs ACV, I know that's a huge thing for you! Anyway, thank you for all of your knowledge and wisdom that you are throwing my way! Speaking of which, what do you know about "oil pulling" if anything?

Sorry that your shake day was yucky today, I have only ever done 2 scoops of powder in my shakes ever, I think that's 25 grams of protein. I can imagine that with more it would be a little chalky for sure! Good luck with your tan!

Teddi, don't worry about the over LDW too much, it will be off in no time once you start the hCG again. I remember your losses in the first week were absolutely AMAZING! If I have any advice though about round 2, I would say try to get as close to LDW before you start... I know I was frustrated and didn't really celebrate my losses until I got past my round 1 LDW. I am excited to cheer you on for your next round!

Fralline, Julia, Jessica, I hope you are all doing great these days!

Afm... still not weighing, today wasn't that great but no binges or anything like that, I just had some carbs... a slice of toast in the morning, some oat bar in the afternoon, and some basmati rice at dinner to mop up the lovely sauce from the butter chicken. I probably won't weigh in tomorrow either... I am going to stop being a slave to the scale!

    Round 1: - 17 lbs... LDW 138
    Round 2: - 15 lbs... LDW 131 lbs

Taaaaahh Daaaaaaaaaah!!! I survived the weekend

Jessica- I hope you are feeling better..illness and otherwise. I know its not a laughing matter, but I did have to chuckle that you were worried about your guys bad breath, and you are gassy…hahaha..sorry. That is odd that he always has some kind of an emergency - I agree with whomever said that it screams wife or girlfriend..kinda odd… on the gassy side of things- have you eaten or drank anything different? Odd that it just hit like that…were you nervous to have your man over? Maybe that did it??

Tate- you simply amaze me with your CD’s! you are unstoppable! I know everywhere on here they say of the troubles people have of stabilizing when they do too short of a P2...unless you look at a rogue thread - BUT that was kind of the reason I stayed in the closet with you guys for so long…I did one full round in May, and then the last weekend of September I loaded to begin a cycle…a cycle that consisted of alternating two week intervals of P2 and P3. I did this through about the first week of December..they say don’t load when you cycle..but I kind of did..just not hog wild..and only for one day as I was going from P3 back into P2...so far so good I think Im stabilizing well. I lost the same amount of weight as I did in my real 23 day round - but it made the whole diet a little more doable for my social calendar..haha. So I know you didn’t say you were thinking of cycling, per say, but I thought I would just share my experience with you. I hope you are kicking some arse on your 35 pages!!!

Skinny- seems like we all had a good eats weekend! Your dinner sounds so yummy. I think I would love that chicken…but my husband doesn’t even like Dijon mustard! So that may be too risky to have to eat all by myself..hahaha I did do the FIVE miles - I had to, I said it out loud in front of other people - tipsy or not, I was committed at that point.

Teddi- girlfriend lazy days are the BEST! Of course you ate yummy bad for you stuff, that’s what we do when we all get together and veg out! You crack me up with your “mirror telling the story” I agree that P2 limits are freeing…so easy not having too many choices…this real world stuff is CRAP but I guess we had better all figure it out pretty soon.

Julia- I didn’t see a post from you…or Ive been writing this for so long now I forgot it! Hahaha Hope all is well with you and that you are still barefoot and cooking in the kitchen when your husband gets home from a hard days work :-)

AFM- Im 2 lbs over LDW - clearly it was from the weekends events..but seriously..for the amount of wine and vodka that I drank, that is really quite amazing…I didn’t say the bad food I ate because for 9 out of 10 of my meals I made good healthy choices…it was kind of freaky! I blew it Sunday morning at the airport because breakfast had just ended and I was hungover..so I pretty much just pointed at the first thing on the lunch menu that didn’t include bread - it was some kind of pasta chicken cheesy thing….oh well. We had the BEST time while we were out fun night out with good people..and then the 2nd night was fun to get all gussied up and hang with the mucky mucks..Hashanah…they should be mucky, but they are so stinking cool and fun - he is really a lucky man. Works for a great company, and a bunch of very very down to earth people. We got to our room at 2 a.m. Sunday morning, and I swear my head hit the pillow and suddenly it was time to get up and get going I went to bed at 7pm last night..I slept for 11 hours last night and still felt like I needed a nap at work today! Hahaha. Probably gonna hit the hay pretty quick here tonight also. Hope you gals are all having a great night and I will chat with you again tomorry!

Hey hot mamas! Sorry I might not end up doing personals. It's been a few days since I posted so there's a lot to catch up with and it's getting late here. Sounds like everyone had a pretty good weekend, but we're all having our scale battles. Skinny, I'm with you! I'm not weighing until later in the week. I haven't weighed in probably a week. Last I did, I was 5 over LIW - this was after a correction day from being 7 over LIW again. I never got anywhere near my LIW after that since I've been eating pretty bad since then. My daughter's sleepover went really well, but I ate like I was having a sleepover! The eating continued through the weekend, so truly don't have a clue how much I weigh. But like teddi said, the mirror tells the story. I'm definitely up there. Did a fage day today and will be eating mostly eggs and ground sirloin tomorrow. Thanks for the info about the shake day, tater! I will have to try one of those soon, although I'm sorry to hear you had a yucky shake day today. I hope you're getting your work done and ready for your cruise! How exciting! But I'll miss you too. Let's see what else...

Sorry, I'm just putting a whole bunch of random information into one big paragraph. Or two. Just trying to cover everything at once. So Jessica and tater, I'm about 95% sure I'll be doing a round 4. Based on my schedule, I will likely load the first weekend of February, so 2/4 and 2/5. Not sure how many days I'll go - probably a minimum of 30. In the meantime, I'm going to try to get back close to my LIW so I'll actually be losing new weight in the new round. I was SO mad earlier because I've been mentally preparing for a week to start my slim in 6 dvds today. I got dressed and ready to go this morning, went to get the dvd set up, but the first dvd in the series, the one you're supposed to start with, was missing!!!! Here's a pic of what I discovered when I sat on my rug to open it. IMG_20120109_100315.jpg I remember over the summer, the package got dropped, so it kind of broke and the first disc doesn't stay in there. I thought it was tucked into the pocket of the package, but it wasn't. I looked everywhere, but couldn't find it. I'm STILL mad about it. I was so motivated to do it and now I can't even start the series. I'm so over all my other workouts and was really looking forward to starting this new series that I'd never tried before. So incredibly frustrating. Teddi, do you know of any way I could get a copy of just disc 1? I'm so bummed. I could probably ask my "coach." I guess she's kind of my coach since I order from her, but I feel like such a slacker going and telling her I've never started these even though I ordered them back in February!

Oh I also tried making the butter chicken on Friday! It was good, but I'm not sure if I did everything right. I couldn't find either of the types of masala the recipe called for. I found something I thought was similar in the store and used that. I might have to try your substitutes next time, tater, and cook it all in one skillet.

Also, also skinny, my bff used to do oil pulling. I'll have to ask her if she still does. I remember her talking about it a couple years ago. I thought it was so weird when I first heard about it, but did some research at the time, and it seemed to have a lot of benefits. I know my friend was doing it regularly for quite awhile. I'll have to ask her if she still does and/or what benefits she noticed. I'm sure tater will have some info too! =) She's a wealth of knowledge on so many topics!

Fralline, glad you had an awesome weekend! Your running is super impressive. Sadly, the barefoot in the kitchen, honeymoon phase is definitely over already. We've actually had a very bad last few days. Kinda hating him right now. To think, he had june cleaver last week.

Jessica, hope you're feeling better! When do you plan to start your next round? Teddi, looks like you'll be starting round 2 pretty soon! Can't believe there will be several of us in P2 again!

Okay ladies, going to wrap this up and head to bed. I'm sorry this post was so random and unorganized! I feel like this was a very A.D.D. type of post. Hopefully better than not posting though, right? Thanks for all of your input about the homeopathic hcg. I'll probably go that route this time. Tater, you might be right about your theory regarding the prescription versus homeopathic and having a successful 2 week round. Very interesting. I need to do some research. Okay, there I go again. Night ladies! xoxo

    Hello ladies!

Thanks for the well wishes! I have literally felt like DEATH for the last 4 days.. I can't remember a time when I have felt this awful with a cold for so long... usually the 1st few days but not continual =( I feel like I have lost 10 pounds although the scale shows 141.... I haven't hardly eaten a thing.. but oddly I have been craving the most unhealthy fattiest processed foods which is VERY abnormal for me! I have been giving into my cravings for the simple fact eating anything right now is probably better than not eating anything at all. I've been living on the couch & my bed for 4 days straight! UGH... funny the gassy thing came with this cold... not sure if they go hand in hand or not... it is clearing up some tho so that is good.

As for the dude... yeah I don't know... I haven't talked to him, but it is VERY odd! Teddi your comment made me LOL about freaking out & then seeing if you have to apologize later! HAH I am not 100% crazy head over heals so partially I don't care... but being that the men here are limited... it keeps me in limbo with him. OH WELL!!!

Looks like everyone is doing well & recovering from the weekend! I will have to live vicariously from you ladies as my last 4 going on 5 days now have NOT been fun!!! Hope to be much over this cold tomorrow!!!

Oh my goodness, we were all night-owls last night. So great to hear from everyone! I'm getting ready to run my kids to their Parents Day Out program and then I have a mad dash to finish my project and run some errands, so I have to make this much quicker than I want.

Just wanted to report back in about my Shake Day Results. I know you all are going to hate me: down 4.8 pounds! No. Joke. I got on the scale 20 times to be sure. The weird thing is I was only up 2 pounds after my carb-fest on Sunday, so it is crazy that I had these results. I must have had a lot of water weight hanging around from the holidays that the Apple and Cheese Day couldn't fix. The nastiness of the overly-thick shakes was so worth it.

So...I'm going high protein today to see if I can get the weight to stick. Then, I'll be in good shape going on the cruise and not feeling like I have to be super careful the entire time.

I will check back later. I read everyone's posts and I want to respond, so I'll be back.

    Morning ladies!
Jessica, looks like we were posting at the same time last night. So sorry to hear you've been that miserable! That is no fun at all. I think it's a good idea to give in to your cravings. My mom always said to eat what you're craving, what really sounds good when you're sick. It's probably just what your body needs for whatever reason. Sending you get better wishes! Hope you wake up much better today.

Oh tater, of course you lost 4.8 from your shake day!! Geez louise!!! Yeah I'm jealous, but seriously, way to go! Are you under your LDW now? I'm glad you've been successful getting some pounds off before your cruise. The last thing you want to have to do is worry about your weight so much! Now you can enjoy yourself.

As for me, just sticking with my plan of eggs and ground sirloin today. I'll add in some veggies too. Might try the shake day tomorrow. We'll see. Not sure how what the results were from my fage day since I still haven't weighed in and won't until later in the week. Maybe Friday. I think my scale needs new batteries anyway. Hope you all have a great day and I hope to see lots of posts here today!

    Hello everyone!

Well I am still sick, but I don't feel like death at least! Plus I had to run my pup to the vet today since she has an infection in her booty =( I feel so bad for her... they worked on her so much & now she keeps going from bed to bed trying to get comfortable enough to try & lay down =( her butt is so swollen from some type of infection. If I hadn't been so sick I am sure I would have noticed before it got so bad =( usually she does the butt scoot & I can tell something is wrong but since it is snow & ice on the ground... no butt scooting for her! Poor baby!

Tate - WOW you are the QUEEN of correction days!!! I am hoping once I get my water & appetite back to normal that I will see a different number on the scale! I know I had to have lost weight as I know for SURE I have lost inches with this cold! My abdomen alone is all flat & it wasn't this flat before =) The scale said 141.2 which is down cause usually I am at 142.8ish....

Change those batteries Julia! Hopefully your egg & steak day will help you tomorrow. I can't wait to get my appetite back... my head for now just feels ridiculously SWOLLEN!!!

    Hey where is everyone?

Jessica, glad you're starting to feel better. Hope your doggie's poor bottom feels better soon too. Poor thing! My day has gone pretty well with food. I think I'll weigh in Friday. I'll be replacing my batteries tomorrow. Maybe the low battery made me seem so fat. Hahaha! Yeah right!

Hope you're all having a good day and are planning to post tonight!

Yo chickitas! Busy busy place here…

TATE! I don’t know which Im more excited for you about….you get to go on vacation day after tomorrow!!!! OR you lost a freaking ARM on your correction day! Man sister, you have got it going on! Well I will join in on the missing you while your gone deal…Im going to make you proud though! Im going to do at least one CD while you are gone..in your honor…hahaha Did you finish your pages??? Do the kids know you are leaving for a few days? How are they taking it?

Skinny- I seriously need to find a health food store and get some of the yummy goodness you speak of..I do remember reading (I think was still reading in the closet, by the light of my flashlight) about that quite some time ago. What is this oil pulling that is being thrown around on here? I envy your ability to step AWAY from the scale…Im still too scared of falling back into my old ways (and my old body).

Julie Gulia- sorry you hate your man ..haha..but havent we all been there? Those days stink! I bet he wishes June Cleaver was back! But it sounds as though he hasn’t been playing Ward very well either then. What a bummer about your first DVD..ugh… check Craiglist, you never know How was your daughters first day back to school? When you like your husband again, ask him how he likes his job and then let me know. Go get those batteries sister…you and your scale will have a fresh start next time you step on it!

Jessica- you poor thing…and then your doggy isn’t well too. I hope you both feel better soon. I agree with Julia that you should give in to what your body is craving when you don’t feel well…its got to mean something, right?

Teddi- Where are the man stories? Or skip the stories and maybe just post another pix of him..hahaha
Hope all is well with you and that our shake deal is working well…hows your website going??? Anything exciting for the new year?

AFM- I stayed the same today…so im still 2lb over ldw…hopefully it goes away soon! I started taking a probiotic to help my body remember what its supposed to do with the food that I eat…and so far so good…but it’s a bit slower process than when I was a big old fat pig… I suppose it’s a fair trade..tee hee. I was lazy this a.m., didn’t sleep well at ALL last night…so no running this a.m. - but when I got home I popped a chocolate chip cookie and a boiled egg - and then ran 3 miles. I had rice and corn at dinner so I really didn’t do myself any favors..ugh.. cannot-slip-into-old-habits!!! OK girls..im outty...have a great night and I hope you all wake up to awesome losses!

Hey everyone...I so shouldn't be typing on here, but I just couldn't resist after reading Julia's plea for posts! ;-) I feel like I am in Heating and Cooling Hell right now...will it ever end? Is anyone going to read freaking 35 pages on a heating and cooling website??? Fralline, no, very unfortunately, I am not finished, but I will be before my head hits the pillow tonight. It is just so hard finishing up this project while trying to prepare the household for my departure (I probably should have passed on the project, but it was good money I couldn't resist). I feel like I have to organize everything and prepare stuff so my husband will survive. He doesn't do much around the house and rarely cooks, so this is a stretch for him. However, he is a GREAT daddy, so I know the kids will be fine.

Julia--if you decide to give the shake day a try, I recommend breaking the 8 scoops of protein powder up into 3 or 4 shakes instead of 2 like I did. It might make them more palatable for you. You asked about where I am weight-wise. I'm spot on LDW. I'd like to get under before Thursday. I ate only eggs for breakfast and ground beef for lunch and dinner, so I'm sort of hoping for another loss tomorrow, but I won't be disappointed if it doesn't happen. I may do an Apple & Cheese Day tomorrow to see if I can push the scale down a little more to get all of the cushion possible! It sounds like you have been doing great with the eating and I hope you have a great weigh-in on Friday. I totally understand about the hubs-issues. I hate to generalize, but men can be such jerkolas. hey, I'm also sorry about the missing DVD. I can imagine how frustrating that must be...kind of like my exercise bubble burst with the sprained ankle. I felt so motivated and then....blah! I hope you can track down a DVD! Oh, and the next round of P2. I'm thinking I may decide to start-up when you do, but I may just be doing a couple of weeks...we'll see what kind of damage I do on the cruise. ;-)

Jessica--Dear, you have had it so rough! Sending well wishes for improved health pronto. Being sick is such a drag. Have you had to miss a lot of work? I also hope your doggie feels better soon. You two need someone to come over and take care of you!

Fralline--Thanks for the congrats on the "arm" gone. Haha. Yeah, I was definitely thrilled to see it, but I keep thinking today, "Maybe my scale was broken!!!" I guess we'll see tomorrow. It's a new scale, so I doubt it, but it just seemed like a pretty massive loss for one day. I think considering all the fun you had over the weekend, being 2 pounds up is a great place to be. It'll be gone in no time, especially with your new running routine. I hope you can sleep better tonight! Oh, and yes the kids know I'm leaving, and my 8 year old keeps trying to convince me she should come. The other kids aren't too concerned, but I have a feeling my 2 year old and 4 year old will be asking for mama within 24-hours. I'm away from them occasionally when they are at my parents' house for the weekend, but this will be the longest I've been away from ANY of them!

Skinny---Your comment about the health food store experience made me laugh. I love that some of this crazy stuff in my head is helpful to you.....or I guess I don't know if it is actually helping you or just causing you to spend too much money at the health food store. Haha. I have done Oil Pulling before, but have trouble doing it consistently. I know it is best to do it when you first wake up and it is also good to use organic oil (I've used olive and sesame seed). It makes your teeth amazingly white within a few "sessions." It is also supposed to be great for detoxing and lots of other things. This link will take you to where I learned a lot about it: http://www.earthclinic.com/Remedies/oil_pulling.html. In fact, this site is like my doctor. I use it for every ailment that my kids or I have. Oh and a big HOORAY for not being a slave to the scale. I hope to get there soon; I know I need to give it up, but I may have to put myself through therapy first.

    How are you, Teddi?

Holy cow, I have to get off of here now. Love you all, and hope to check in tomorrow if I survive this HVAC website!
