Good morning all! No change on the scale for me. Yesterday was a hungry day for me so I doubled all my protein so I wasnt expecting much. Oh well, at least it wasnt a gain!

ailuj-twin dont beat yourself up about your cheat. OMG, and I would die for a apple donut! I dont have the same discipline as round 1 either so I understand where your coming from. And your 100% right about the motivation dwindling since there's less at stake. The only thing thats holding me back from cheating is knowing it might add extra days to this P2 hell!! (can you tell how much I HATE p2??) So get your butt back on track girl! You only have 10lbs to go!!!

Tate I hope TOM is being kind to you today!

Soon2b--congrats on another 1lb loss! You are on a roll!! I used to be a workout fanatic until my last round. Then I never got motivated again. Hopefully I will after this round.

Sorry to those I didnt comment to but Ill catch up throughout the day!

    11/25 --Round 1- 141lbs-146 after load--LDW 126lbs--20lbs loss
2/9--Round 2-132.4lbs after load LDW for round 2-116.6 lbs
After 13 days in P3 couldnt stabilize
    3/20-back to P2 -treating P3 as a planned interruption 120.8
    3/28--LDW-115.2 4/20-Adjusted LDW End of P3- 116lbs
    9/23 Load for Round 3 Before load-123lbs After Load-126lbs

Good for you for just sticking with extra protein. Hungry day for tends to result in disaster for me!!! I bet you'll see the drop tomorrow. TOM is finally better for me. No pain today and my body released weight...didn't even have time for the detox bath. Have a great day!

I think there's just something about that first week...the cravings can be so intense. If I could go away to a private island and sip lemon water in a hammock by the beach, I would be fine, but when you throw the stress of family, work, TOM, etc. into the first week cravings, I just CAVE. So...you aren't alone, and I think you have a great perspective...we just get back up and keep trucking!

That's why I didn't weigh Saturday or Sunday! I knew it would be ugly. But then I was strict protocol on Sunday, so the scale went down. I also wonder if the fact that I ONLY ate the cheat food for the day made a difference? For example, I cheated on Saturday afternoon with pizza and that's all I ate all day. Who knows? But I'm super thankful to see the scale go down today! Um...but Honey...I would love to be YOU, Ms. 119 lbs.

Hello ladies, well yesterday was a rough one for me... I thought that I was making okay choices but I woke up to a 1 lb GAIN this morning. Ah well, live and learn, right!!? It was a HUNGRY day for me for sure, I just couldn't stop thinking about food all-day-long! I tried a protein shake in the morning, had leftover cabbage rolls for lunch, and I made a delicous lasagna with thinly sliced zucchini as the lasanga 'noodles'. So yummy and I would definitely recommend for P2... very delicious and satisfying! The recipe is in the "chef and foodie" recipe thread... check it out! But I kindof lost it in the evening... I counted the tomatoes in the lasagna as my 2nd fruit, but I really had the nibbles, so I had my 2 melba toasts with stevia and cinnamon, then later I had some sugar-free orange jello, and then 2 pickles. I'm not sure if it was the jello, or the extra protein that caused the gain, I'm sure that I was over the 500 cals yesterday... anyway, although it was a 'cheat' I don't feel like it was a really bad cheat. Back on track today!

Because of this hunger I think I need to play with my HCG dosage a bit... originally (back in round 1) I was doing 10 drops, 3 times a day. I was still hungry, so I altered it to 7-8 drops, 3 times a day, and that was better. This round I have been doing the same dosage (7-8 drops/3x) but starving... I am trying 6 drops today, but I may do an extra dose (so I will do 6 drops/4 times a day). I'm hoping it will help the hungry bear that's living inside me these days! I will keep you all posted!

Tate- that's a good idea to skip the weigh-in on Sat/Sun... I feel like my number that I see on the scale somewhat dictates my mood for the day (that's awful, isn't it). I am really jealous that you ate pizza and still lost! You should totally try the egg drop soup today, it's one of my favorite meals in P2.

Honey - weekends are my hungry days also... I am glad that the protein double-up didn't cause any gains for you.

Soon2B - Thank you, you are like a ray of sunshine on this gloomy monday morning! I am glad that you are doing great and had a nice loss this morning. How old is your little girl? That's great that she is enjoying P3 meals with you. My kiddos like to do yoga with me when I do it at home too...so sweet! I really recommend the cabbage rolls, they are delicious, and the dipping sauce is very good too (acv + braggs, with a smashed garlic floating in the middle).

Teresa - a late welcome to you. I am doing a minimum of 30 days this round (with a 2 day planned interruption for our Canadian Thanksgiving). Last round I did a 23 day phase 2 and had some difficulty with stabilization in P3/P4. Heck, I may even go for longer than 30 days... I am going until I hit my weight goal of 125 - 130 lbs.

    Round 1: - 17 lbs... LDW 138
    Round 2: - 15 lbs... LDW 131 lbs

Good morning ladies! Glad to hear everyone is doing well this morning on their losses. This is week 2 & known for stalls! I am still not weighing myself & since it is week 2 I might as well just hold out knowing it will kill my discipline if I don't see looses. Week 3 I will weigh myself!

Soon2B or Tate - How do you do the egg drop soup? I tried the recipe listed in "Foodie & Chef" but I couldn't get my eggs to form =( It was like they just became part of the broth =( She says to stir the broth then pour the egg... but mine stops spinning unless I keep spinning it with the stick. I left mine on the heat so I don't know if that was right or not. It seemed really good if I did find a chunk of egg... but mostly it was just REALLY thick broth =(

Soon2B - Glad you found some apples. I don't really care for them myself but they travel well & make a good snack if I have to be away from hom & my P2 foods. They will hold me over for a little but. I like the Granny Smith Apples but can't really stomach many other ones. Fiji's are good but red apples I find are just to mushy & grainy in texture. I like the more crisp ones. I lived in WA for the last 5 years so there are about 12 different apples to choose from!!! Here in Texas produce is hard to come by & EXPENSIVE!

    Happy loosing ladies!!!

Jan - I like the Granny Smith apples, but I have really been enjoying pink lady apples, Sunrise apples, and this morning I had a Honeycrisp and it was FANTASTIC! I would highly recommend honeycrisp apples (they are nice and big too!)

Here is how I do the egg drop soup... I scramble 2 egg whites + 1 whole egg in my liquid measuring cup with the pour spout... meanwhile I bring the broth to a boil in the saucepan. Give it a good stir, I use a fork to stir it, and as it whirls around I pour a drizzle of the egg... then I give the broth another stir and drizzle more egg. Do this until you have no more egg left to pour. Then I add the spices and braggs, and pour the hot soup over fresh spinach and a little bit of green onion. Such a great lunch!

I admire your patience with not weighing yourself... I jump out of bed every morning to pee and then weigh-in!

Hi lovely losers! Thanks for your kind words about my cheat. I gained a pound but oh well. I kind of expected that. Back on track. I think I can, I think I can... The one positive thing I can find about my cheat is that it got things moving in the bathroom - finally! I hadn't had a BM yet since starting VLCD! Don't you guys just love how well you've been getting to know me?! Probably too well! I developed the worst headache last night and it was still there when I woke up today. It was just awful. I felt nauseous so I haven't even felt like eating much today. I never get headaches like that. It's finally getting better. Ugh.

Soon2B, I love reading your posts too. You're always so cheery it's no surprise you're a morning person. My daughter is too and I love that about her. I love your dedication to working out! Hopefully you'll inspire me to get back on it as well. Congrats on your 1 pound loss! That's still really good. Losses always slow down after the first week so don't despair. Just keep on track and it will come off!

Skinny, Sorry about your gain. I gained too, but I actually deserved it. Hoping for a big loss for you tomorrow!

Tate, Nice loss! Glad to hear there's hope for cheating so early on in the round. Pizza sounds delicious. Here's to a good and disciplined week!

Honeybunny, Just looked at your ticker and that 5.4 pounds to goal looks fantastic!!! Your muffin top comment made me laugh. That's how I feel too. Nice job on handling your hunger with extra protein. In one of my rounds I read on a thread this quote for cheating - "Cheat with meat!"

Hi Jessica and the rest of you gals! Hey, where's HCGShan, the creator of my new favorite thread? Hope you're all having a great day. We're having beauuuuuutiful weather here in Chicago which is supposed to last the whole week. Yay! Sunshine in the fall.
    Round 1 start date: 1/22/11 - Lost 19 pounds
    Lost 1.6 during P3/P4
    Round 2 start date: 4/16/11 - Lost 18 pounds

Long break after round 2. Gained back 7 pounds because I was a big pig over the summer.

    Round 3 start date: 9/24/11 - Lost 14 pounds total - 7 new pounds, 7 old pounds :-)
