Drive safe, Jessica! 183 miles isn't too bad as long as it's not in a snow storm. :/ Driving in snow is no fun, especially when you're traveling! I hope you're early enough to beat it. You're so close! Keep checking in when you can. When is your first day of work?

Hey everyone! Well, the playgroup and wedding are behind me and I didn't cheat, except for a couple of bites of plain roasted chicken at the reception. It's a Fage Day, so that was off-plan, but hopefully won't mess me up. I was pretty active today, so I think it should be fine. I'm actually VERY hungry tonight. It's reminding me of good ole' P2. Haha. Julia, you asked about the type of Fage I use for the correction days. It's full fat all the way! I enjoyed it today. I had the breakfast with blueberries, one serving with lemon juice and two with cocoa powder and hazelnut syrup. Pretty tasty, although I was definitely wishing I could partake in the wedding reception dinner of roasted chicken and green beans. It smelled so good. I drank A LOT of coffee to keep myself away from the food or licking the frosting off of my daughter's red velvet cupcake. The torture!!!

Julia--I am honestly so glad to hear you stopped the injections. I think our bodies can sometimes let usknow when it is time to take a break, and it sounds like that's exactly what your body was saying to you! Do you have your first P3 day planned out yet? My advice? Stay away from the bacon for a few days! LOL. It sounds like we are kindred spirits when it comes to bacon. This stuff was to-die for, and I almost did when I saw the scale go up 3 pounds. :O Good news is I took a peek at the scale when I got home tonight and I was down 1.5 from this morning's weigh-in, so I should be right at LDW tomorrow if things go as they usually do while I sleep. Whew! Then, I'm going to try to figure out a way to enjoy bacon again without letting myself go crazy with the stuff.

I'm going to post that pumpkin cheesecake recipe either tonight or tomorrow morning. I actually combined two different recipes, so I may have to think back a little to remember what I did. I definitely want to recreate it for Thanksgiving. It will be so nice to have a legal option, although I'm pretty sure I'll be partaking in bites of non-legal things that day with the full intention of a correction day on Friday. There's no way I can pass up my grandma's sweet potatoes with marshmallow topping...I just can't do it! ;-) It's definitely well-worth a steak day or Fage day!

Skinny--glad to hear you had a successful steak day and also that you survived the grocery store trip with four. You used my method of keeping them all contained in the cart. I even make my poor almost-8-year-old get in the cart sometimes, because I refuse to deal with my kids running into everyone and everything while I'm shopping. Hope you are pleased with the scale after your high-protein day today. That's what I'll be doing tomorrow. I have yet ANOTHER birthday party, but I'm getting pretty good at resisting cake, so it should be fine.

    Jessica
--I don't know how you are doing it! I say "no guilt" from the burger. I mean you are doing the best you can! Wishing for safe travels for you. Thanks for checking in! Hope the snow doesn't get in your way!

Alright, I GUESS I'm going to torture myself further tonight and watch Top Chef with my husband. I made some Good Earth Sweet & Spicy tea, so that should help. I love that stuff and it always seemed to help in P2 with keeping the nighttime munchies away.

I'll check in tomorrow with my Fage Day (plus a few bites of chicken) results. TMI, but I really need to things to get moving in the BM department. I KNOW that was part of my gain this morning....I take Natural Calm every night and I never have had issues with this in P2 or P3, so I'm a little perplexed....and uncomfortable!

Okay, enough about that icky matter! ;-) Good night. Hope to hear from everyone tomorrow!

Hi tater! WAY TO GO on not cheating at the wedding. I seriously find that incredible! Yay for full fat fage! Good job! I'm sure you'll be rewarded with a drop tomorrow, especially since you were down 1.5 later in the day. You're brave. I never weigh myself other than first thing in the morning. I hope things get "moving" for you soon. If things get really bad, do you ever use magnesium citrate? I had that problem during round 1 and nothing was working so I picked up some Walgreens brand and it really did the trick. And the bacon... I always get out of control with it so I try to just stay away. It always tastes way too good. In P3, I eat a lot of Applegate brand chicken and sage breakfast sausage. It's really yummy and I'm able to eat normal size portions of it! I can't wait to get to eat that! Yay for P3! I'll be starting off slow like I usually do. Definitely eggs in the morning with some peppers, mushrooms and onions. Yum. Other than that, I'll probably just double my protein and maybe even have some cocoa crack. I'll definitely wait a few days before I add dairy other than my half and half. My first round, I wrote down everything I ate in P3 so I think I'll go back and look at that and try to follow that plan - at least a little bit. I can't wait to try that cheesecake recipe! I was thinking I'd try to make that for Thanksgiving too. But I'm with you, I'll definitely be having bites of things that aren't legal. There are just some foods I refuse to turn down. I love your use of the word legal, btw. Enjoy your Top Chef tonight! I have yet to watch an episode. I think I should be able to handle it this coming week since I'll finally be off P2. Have a great night!

Good morning. Down 2 pounds from my Fage Day, so I'm 1 lb. up from LDW. I KNOW it would be more if I could just experience the oh-so-lovely BM Fairy. Why is she holding out on me? I take Natural Calm (Mag Citrate) every night. Last night I took a triple-dose, but still nothing! I thought about the Smooth Move tea, but I've read some horror stories and with gymnastics class for the kids this morning, a birthday party this afternoon and working the church coffee bar tonight, I can't deal with cramping all day! Just trying for a high protein day today.

Varoopa, I would definitely do a steak day today; maybe a really clean P3 day (just proteins and fats and a few veggies) tomorrow, and then another correction day (Fage Day, apple & cheese day, protein shake day) the next day. You can get off those 4.5 pounds no problem. Hang in there!

Julia--thanks for the tip about the Applegate sausage. I'm going to try to find that this weekend. Sounds good! Hope the scale was kind to you this morning.

Gotta make breakfast now. Be back later with the pumpkin cheesecake recipe and to check-in with everyone else!

Hi guys! Real quick check in. We're getting ready to head out for the morning. I'll be back later for all the personals. Tater, sorry you've had no luck. I have Natural Calm too and that usually works pretty well. The Walgreens stuff is a completely different animal for some reason. I don't have any here so I can't look at the specifics, but it must be a super concentrated liquid version of mag citrate. It really, really, really worked. I wouldn't recommend it at this point though if you had a triple dose of Natural Calm. Maybe it's just taking awhile for it to kick in. I hope you get some relief soon. I know that's a miserable feeling.

Talk to you girls later! I'll check in with you all when I get back home. Hope you all have a great Saturday!

Thanks, Julia. The Natural Calm finally kicked it...yay! I feel much better now.....hoping it will give me a weigh-in AT that LDW tomorrow. Or course, 1 lb. isn't that big of a deal, but it would nice to stay as close as possible to that number. It's a mental thing, I guess. Have a good Saturday! We are heading out the door for gymnastics.

Hey everyone...check out this AMAZING plan for stabilizing in P3 (it isn't Leptin Reset): A Structured P3. It's great for those of us who start to freak when there is no longer the planning and structure of P2, so we lose all control. I think I'm going to start incorporating this for introducing new foods.

Hello everyone from beautiful Sun Valley!!! I made it here after a dreaded 115 miles =( I left Utah & entered an awful WINDY as all get out blizzard which was basically all a head wind! I went through a full tank of gas in those 115 just to give you an idea of how strong it was... I usually get about 240 to a full tank!

Anyway, I am basically unloaded. I think my oldest dog HATES me cause when she is outside she just shakes and my youngest male dog... is like a fricken 8 year old who's never seen snow. He keeps running out the door to go explore & pissing off all the neighbor dogs!

Anyway, I can't wait for tomorrow definitely back on P2 & already hit the store to make chili & that bolganaise sauce that I turned into an italian chili!

What do you guys think... I'mm pretty sure I should mix a new batch of HCG. I had pre-mixed some needles but I am sure with all the motion, shaking etc... the actual vial isn't good anymore. I don't have another clean vial tho... do you think if I completely emptied the vial and added the new stuff that it would still be good? I have to go to the post office tomorrow & get a PO box but other than that I can't attempt to order a new vial until after I have an address.

Anyway, I have all day to do nothing but cook so I will catch up on the thread & see how everyone is doing!
    Jessica

Hey gals! Another quiet day around here I see... Jessica, so glad you made it to your new destination! You're home! Glad you made it safe and sound. That's so cute about your dogs. I'm looking forward to my dog seeing snow this winter. She was born in April so it'll be her first time! As for your mixing question, I think you should mix a new batch too. I think your vial will be just fine if you completely empty it out and add the new. I wouldn't worry about that. Good luck tomorrrow on your first day back on P2! I think you'll do great through the rest of this round. You're refreshed and motivated. I bet your losses will be great!

Tater, thanks for sharing that link. I actually just saw that thread last night too! Her method is kinda similar to how I do my P3, although I don't do as many different food tests as she does. I follow what my clinic initially told me to do. I should go back and try to find their instructions. I posted them on here during my first round. They had the same idea, to wait 2 to 3 days after introducing a new food since it can take a couple days for your body to react. I love how structured she is though. I think I'll follow some of this too, like for things with almond flour, mug cake, and those type of things. I've never experimented with those kind of P3 recipes so I should definitely test that out. I'm glad things finally got moving for you. What a relief! I hope it helps you with that 1 pound on the scale. Yes, it's only 1 pound, but we all obsess over one pound, especially when trying to maintain. Very mental indeed!

Varoopa, sorry to hear you've been having a tough time in P3 so far. I hope you had a good steak day today. I bet you'll see a nice drop tomorrow. I'd follow tate's advice of eating really clean P3 followed by another correction day. That should get you back on track. Hang in there.

As for me, first day of P3 tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!! Woo hooooooo! I've been downright giddy today at the thought of P3 eating. It's kind of sad to think how just the thought food is making me this happy. But it's been such a long P2 and I'm so ready to move on. I'll be having scrambled eggs with green pepper and onions for breakfast. Can't wait! I've been looking back at my first P3 menu so I think I'll basically follow that tomorrow. I'm so glad I wrote down everything I ate the first round.

Skinny and teddi, how are you ladies? Hope to hear from you soon and hope you're all having a fantastic weekend!
