    Red face Buddy thread, for those starting P2 the week of October 12

    Alrighty, I'm a newbie to HCG and looking for some buddies who started loading last week, to support each other!

    I started loading Oct. 12, so anyone who started a handful of days before or after would be great to jump in here. (Of course, anyone else is welcome too. )

    I ate (mostly) clean for 1 month before starting, approx. 1200-1500 calories most days, and I also started exercising 3-5x per week, jogging 20-33 minutes, usually 1-2.5 miles. I didn't weigh in at the beginning (my scale is WACK) but I was probably 176-178 lbs, the heaviest I have been in 2 years. My size 12s were mostly too tight, and I was NOT in the mood to buy more clothes!!! I get really frustrated with how fat my arms look as well. After I worked hard for several weeks, I was down to 173, and I proved to myself that I have the discipline to maintain a program for awhile.

    I started loading Wednesday, Oct. 12th, at 168.5, and worked my way up to 171.5 after loading for 2 days (ugh). I seriously just wanted to throw up those days!!! lol.

    I'm on P2 day 7 today. I'm still feeling a bit more hungry than I'd like, but I'm growing accustomed to it. I finally borrowed a reliable scale (a wii fit thingy) yesterday, so at least I can track it a bit better!

    Pre-loading: 168
    Post-loading: 171 (+2)
    Day 5: 164.5 (40.9% body fat ----UGH!!!)
    Day 7: 162.9! yea! And I finally dropped from 'overweight' to 'normal'.

    Who else started in the past week or so? Come and hang out!

    I am one day behind you..but I have seen my weight loss slow down already so I am a bit nervous. I have been getting hungry having headaches and feeling lightheaded when I move around a lot. I can definitely see why exercise is not recommended. I am wondering if there are any tips that can kick the weight loss back into high gear? I did cheat a little bit last night by having a small glass of wine..oops

    So far loss has been

    Day 3 After Loading 156
    Day 4 151.6 (-4.4 lbs)
    Day 5 150.6 (-1 lb)
    Day 6 150.2 (-.4)

    So in total I am down 4.8 lbs ..What are your goals for the first round? I am hoping to lose 30lbs and was hoping to accomplish that in the 42 day cycle..

    Sorry for your little stall. I'm feeling better today, just a little tired mid afternoon (3pm). My goal is 15 pounds in the short P2 phase, my vial is supposed to have 21 days worth of drops, so I'll just keep taking them until they are gone and then do the 3 post days of VLCD before switching back to a normal diet. I'd really like to get down another 18 pounds (total) in the long run, so if I somehow don't get there on this round, I may buy more drops just to continue for another 2 weeks. I think if I can drop this bulk of it fast, I can nip the rest in the bud a pound or 2 a week at a time, with continued exercise and lean eating.

    Hi gals!

    Sierah - Thanks for starting this. I'd looked for a thread and didn't really think of starting one myself Sounds like you're doing really well. Helps that you were eating smart before (at least I think so). Those loading days are brutal. I also felt sick to the point of throwing up. I'm thinking of doing something similar. I'd like to lose the bulk of my weight in one round & then maybe continue with weight watchers. I just really needed to see some results and fast... motivation to keep going I guess. I'd lost 30 lbs and gained 8 back (which I've now lost).

    Irishgal - Sorry to read you've been feeling lousy. I felt like that the first few days too. I loaded up on work days & had Sat/Sun off for my first 2 days of phase 2. I felt pretty lousy - stayed in bed a lot. Felt weak, headache & sorta achey. Still didn't feel so hot all day Monday, but then started to feel pretty good last night & so far today has been pretty good too. Not sure what to attribute it to. I started to break up my foods a little. As an example: This morning I had my melba toast with my coffee and a couple of strawberries. At lunch I had my meat, veggie and the rest of my strawberries. Tonight - I'll eat my meat/veggie and melba toast & later... an apple. Maybe I just needed to spread them out a bit, instead of eating them all around the same time. I've also been drinking a lot of water - which is never a bad thing. Oh and... I'm probably not supposed to.. BUT I took a green tea extract (which is a hunger suppressant). I took it yesterday & still lost 1.4lbs today - so it seemed to be okay? Hang in there! I read something about an apple day? Might be something to check into.

    Hey Shauna,

    It looks like we are on the same day. I also had the weekend to start VLCD. I thought it would be easier that way...guess not tho huh? The headaches were bad first couple days but was milder today. Today I didn't feel as famished in the afternoon either. Do you count how many calories you have in a day? The breadsticks I got at the store are 40 calories each but online I have seen they are only supposed to be like 14 calories. I dunno where to get these "magical" breadsticks. Buying beauty products is kinda frustrating also..Think I am stocked up with stuff pretty good. I am a big makeup person so it's kind tough going without all that stuff!! I just keep thinking it will all be worth it in the end....Are you using drops or injections?

    Hey!! I just started phase 2 of my first round today and am very excited to start watching the pounds come off! My goal is to loose 120lbs! I want to play soccer and basketball again!

    Using drops. I'm feeling pretty energetic tonight. Although... I'm going out tonight & I have to confess... I'm contemplating having a beer. Ugh - I even cringe as I type that - lol I'll TRY to use willpower and have boring... dull TEA though.

    The Melba I'm using is 20 calories for a teeny tiny piece of what they call toast. I calculated what certain meals were... and I bought a scale. Pre-weighed all my meat, wrapped it in saran & froze it in a bigger Ziploc - I can take out one portion at a time (convenient). For work - I make both meals for the following day. That way when I come home from work & too tired to cook.. its ready. My kids aren't too thrilled though. I tell them to fend for themselves (they're 20 & 18). I figure they can manage and there's no way I'm cooking separately for them. Another thing I try to do.. is to eat slowwwwer. Planning on doing fish tomorrow night - so I'll definitely calculate that. Totally know what you're talking about re: makeup. I'm also big into makeup & I work in fashion. I've done my best to look into ingredients and try not to use anything I shouldn't. Quite sure I'm using shampoo I shouldn't be. Dropped hair products - gum, candies. Plan to go to the healthfood store and see if there isn't something there I can get.

    Hey Nicole. Have you ever done this before? First few days were hellish for me - but its picking up! (Thank goodness!)

    Hi there, this is my 2nd round for hcg (drops). I just did my gorge days the 17th & 18th; a little nervous about tmro; just hopping that I can get right back in the swing of things for this 2nd round of phase 2. i loved the results from the first time; lost 27 total and kept if off. I don't need to lose much more, will be happy with a minimum of 10 up to? Glad to find this group. Good luck to everyone
