    Close to goal buddy thread?

    Hey guys, I am about 5 lbs away from my set in stone goal, I'm not sure yet if I would like to add another 5 lb's to that, but I'll see when I get there. I figured it would be nice to have a group of us who are close to goal and close to entering p3 so we can share our P3 strategies and stabilization journeys. I am about to cycle off and then on for another two weeks. Once I reach goal I will have lost 90 lb's and I am looking to stabilize for life. I also plan to try the Leptin Reset to help with my stabilization.

    Hi,

    I would like to join you on this. This is R3 for me. I will be finishing in about two weeks and have technically hit my goal already...

    My goal has been fitting back into a pair of jeans that I wore exactly five years ago, when I first moved to Houston. My weight crept up with menopause and the fat deposits really started accumulating. Those jeans fit but there is more jell-o on the belly that still has to go.

    I will also be doing the Leptin reset...in fact, I was just reading the blog for the recommended supplement list and labs. Last P3 I used the BAB and primal as my WOE and it worked well for me. The holidays added about six lbs back on because I was eating too many treats and/or empty carbs.

    Hi! I am close to goal, 5-8 lbs to go. My LDW was 123 and I am under 5'2. I have been eating primal (don't think I am leptin resistant and have stabilized nicely) but have crept up to 125 with small indulgences. I would like to have a cushion so that I can enjoy a treat once in a while. Since I have not been able to lose anything in P4 (have been in P4 for 4 weeks now) I had been tossing around the idea of doing a second round to lower BMI from 23 to 20. I finally decided I would do a short 23 day round and am going to use Rx HCG this time. Last time I did HHCG. Would love to buddy up with you both and anyone else who joins. Although I will never be able to wear a bikini with huge scar down my belly from surgery, I am looking forward to wearing a nice bathing suit this summer and not feeling self conscious about my back fat. .

    I'd like to join. I am about 2 weeks away from finishing up my first Phase 2. I had originally set my goal for 130lbs, I am 4.3 lbs away! Ultimately I would love to be at 125, but I wanted to make a realistic goal instead of setting myself up for failure. Man I haven't been 125lbs since high school! I guess I will just see how things play out in the next two weeks, and my "goal" will be where ever I end up.

    Considering this is my first go round, I am a little bit freaked out about gaining every pound back so would love to have some folks to talk to. And have a place to check in daily to keep me honest of course.

    I'll join with you all too =)

    I'm 5'2 and right now I'm 122.8 lbs my goal weight is between 105-110 (Doctor Recommended). I'm doing a 42 day Round with HHCG and I really want to try to get down to at least 115 lbs in P2.
    I'm on R1 P2 D24 and my weight has been coming off pretty slow. I might just end at 30 days I'm not sure yet, but I do want to get as low as possible while I'm still in P2, since I read that you're not supposed to lose any weight is P3...My birthday is coming up in May and so is Summer and I'm tired of feeling like a miserable little troll lol..This is my first time trying HHCG and I don't want to put on any weight when I'm done with P2 so having some people to talk to would be great =)

    Nely we r about the same right now. My friends think in am crazy to want to lose more weight. Glad to hear that your dr. Recommends unto be 105-110. You should not lose in p3. I was so nervous before I entered into p3 but it was great. I love eating butter, avocado, eggs and bacon oh and cocoa crack! I stabilized great and only had to do one steak day and that was in p4. This program works, stick with it.

    Hey everyone! Yay! After a while I didn't think anyone was gonna join me, lol.

    I'm 5'1.5, med-small frame, and my goal is to be 122, so I can have a buffer to my goal weight of 125 (for now). I figured I will see how close I am in the next week and a half. I am on vlcd 5, after a short interruption, so I plan on stopping on vlcd14 as long as I'm at goal. As of this morning I was 130 and my ldw was 132, so I'm making progress.

    I'm on hhcg, and decided to start the round doing 0.5cc, which i know is too much, but I haven't been hungry so I figured my drops were losing potency. I think I was wrong, because after taking my doses today I've been hungry, so I'm going to be dropping down to about 4.6.

    Originally I wanted to be a size two in pants, but I figured I would be more realistic and aim to be a size 4. I've been sopping in jr's sizes as I lose weight, not realizing how differently the clothes are cut. According to a pair of size 4 pants and skirts i tried on, and nordstroms' size charts, it looks like I'm already a size 4! :-) So maybe there's hope for me to be a size 2, but if not I'm still happy. I'm already going to have to find some new places to shop that sell extra small tops and size 2 skirts, because TJ-Max didn't cut it on the last two shopping trips, lol.

    Wow Captncrunch (my favorite cereal by the way, well pre-HCG), you have lost 86 lbs and now down to a size 4. You must feel like a totally new person. Congrats.

    I am about 5'4 1/2", so 130 lbs puts me at a BMI of 22 which seems reasonable, but 125 would be even better obviously, closer to a BMI of 21. As the days go on, looks like I should be happy just to make it to 130, I guess it just gets harder to lose the closer you get to goal. I am in the middle of a stall, I was stuck at 134.4 for the past 3 days, then went up to 134.9 today. I have mentally prepared myself for stalls (but not gains - argh) so I'll just wait it out, but it is still a disappointment to eagerly hop on the scale every morning knowing that you have been completely on plan and BOOM.

    nelygirl - my weight loss has been SLOWWWW too, - 5.5 lbs the first week, - 4.3 lbs the second week, now +0.5 lbs the third week. On day 17 that equals 9.3 lbs which is just a wee bit over 0.5 lbs per day. But I know (hope) it will catch back up. I seem to be in a pattern of slow during the week with a pick up for the weekend so I won't get too discouraged yet.

    Thanks vikikta! Capn' Crunch was one of my faves too, but I haven't touched it in a year, lol. One day, maybe.

    Moya, it could be that you've hit a set point in you were ever at that weight for a while. This is currently happening with my mom at 125, a weight that she was at for a long time. Fortunately for me the only set point I think I ever really have was in the 180s. But I do have a gain almost every round in week one or week two, I figure it's just my body trying to catch up. But it may help to do an apple day. It works for some, I've done it a couple times, not for stalls, just cuz. But I tend to be quite rogue,lol.

    I was down a pound today, weighing in at 129...I have never been in the 120's before! Like at least not since I was maybe 10...So this feels awesome....It's weird, because I woke up today, and the first thing i said to myself when i looked down was..."are those my legs?".....It was like the first time I almost liked what I saw....Then when I looked in the mirror before I weight my stomach was a little bit flatter than yesterday, but it wasn't the flatness it was taught...I measured and I think it's down about a 1/4 inch. I never keep track of my measurements, just approximates. And one of my goals was to have a 27" waist....well it's 26 now and I've still got a few pounds to go :-)....I don't know how to explain it, but this pound taking me from the 130's to the 120's, seems to have made more of a difference than any other pound I can account for. I'm sure some of it is psychological because I'm so happy to be in the 120's, but then again, although I had hoped, I didn't know for sure until I weight myself which was after I felt my body had changed a little. It makes me a bit happier because i've been having this naging feeling that my goal weight isn't low enough or isn't gonna make a difference, but there's hope that it will.
