I'm Khadijah (kuh-DEE-juh) originally from Detroit, been in Houston 4 years. I live & work in Clear Lake right near Nasa. R1/P3/D4. Down about 27# this round, woohoo!
I was actually cruising right along until yesterday, when I had a gallbladder attack for the first time ever, and that freaked me out a little bit. I feel awesome right now, but I'm just contemplating how to tweek things and move forward after this unforseen setback.
On a positive note, I almost cried at Old Navy last week, as I bought a sundress for the first time in 8 years (anyone with a big bust will tell you, dresses just don't work, the bust is never big enough to hold you!). And for the first time since becoming diabetic, my HgbA1C is NORMAL. So I consider my gallbladder a small price to pay...sounds awful, I know!
I am a huge lurker so I look forward to reading more about everyone's experiences on this thread!
