    Less than 25 Pounds to Lose

    I'm pretty new to the HCG diet, R1P2VLCD11, but I've been reading the old forum and I became really attached to the "Less than 25 Pounds to Lose?" thread started by mtiger back in July 2010. I was hoping they moved the discusson to the new forum, but I can't find it. Sooo, I'm starting a new thread here made specifically for those of us with not that much to lose.

    I had a baby 5 months ago and I don't have the patience to wait for the whole "9 months on, 9 months off" thing. I want instant gratification and the HCG Diet is doing it for me. I am doing it through a doctor and I use Homeopathic HCG. Seems to be doing the job.

    Here are my stats:

    Pre-load 139.5lbs
    VLCD 1 - 141.0
    VLCD 2 - 139.2
    VLCD 3 - 137.4
    VLCD 4 - 136.5
    VLCD 5 - 136.2 (then cheated big time YUM )
    VLCD 6 - afraid to weigh myself after cheating
    VLCD 7 - 135.5
    VLCD 8 - 135.0
    VLCD 9 - 134.0
    VLCD10- 132.8
    VLCD11- 131.8 Yay!

    Also, I could use a buddy to do it with. Anyone else in a similar situation, around day 10-13 with less than 20 to lose?

    Hi! You and I are in about the same boat. I'm doing the 40 day plan and trying to lose about 22 pounds. Here's my stats:


    1 - 1/24 -- 137
    2 - 1/25 -- 135.8 (-1.2)
    3 - 1/26 -- 135 (-0.8)
    4 - 1/27 -- 133.6 (-1.4)
    5 - 1/28 -- 132 (-1.6)
    6 - 1/29 -- 131 (-1.0)
    7 - 1/30 -- 132. 4 (+1.4)
    8 - 1/31 -- 131 (-1.4)
    9 - 2/01 --130.2 (-0.8)
    10 - 2/02 -- 129 (-1.2)
    11 - 2/03 -- 128.6 (-0.4)


    Soooo I've lost about 8.4 pounds and have 13.6 pound and 29 days to go!

    Thank you for posting up the old thread. I'd been seeking out something like this to keep me motivated. My losses have really slowed- I know the hcg is working but 2lbs a week feels so meager!

    Only .6 lost yesterday... must be the tangerine I had yesterday morning. Have you guys cheated at all? Tiger, are you following protocol to a T? Maybe your dosage is wrong? I see you're doing the hhcg drops, that's what I'm doing now. I'm running low and I just ordered the HCG 5000 injections from Fran's website, hopefully I get them by Tuesday. They say the IM works better, especially for reshaping (if that trully happens). My drops have been working great for me, I've lost almost 10lbs in 12 days and I have no hunger whatsoever.

    Hi! Me! I had to smile looking at your sig as it's just like mine! I'm starting vlc day 13 today. Half way through!! More than. I had a slight weird weight issue between yesterday and today, but yesterday I was at 130.5 (assuming water weight clung for some reason). Hoping to get back there tomorrow, too.

    Anyway, hi!

    Hi, we are so similar...Starting my 13thday, half way there - just like you! I'm so confused though. Are you going to do the 23 day or 40 day? How do you have that decision?? When on phase 3 - do u continue to loss weight?

    Hi! My name is Kim. I started January 13 with my first VLCD 1 at 139. I am on VLCD 23 today and have lost 15.9 lbs. I am doing a long round with injections and have 14 doses left. I am 8.1 lbs to goal and hopefully will make it there or close. Best of luck to all of you!

    I'm doing a 23 day because I am going to Italy 3 days after that, and P3 is a necessity. I plan on doing a second round after the appropriate amount of time once i get back. Otherwise I would have chosen a 40 day cycle. A lot of people do continue to lose weight in P3, though some hold steady somewhere in the vacinity of their final weight on P2.

    Welcome everyone! It looks like many of us are on VLCD12 or 13 today and I see we have similar goals. Gigi, yours does look just like mine.

    What is everyone using to help with P2?
    Here's my stuff:

    HHCG from doctor
    SafeCare mouth spray (bought at the Sunflower Shoppe) to help with cravings and hunger, which I don't struggle with that much
    One a Day Prenatal Vitamins - left from when I was pregnant
    Vitamin B complex with lots of B12
    Stevia packets
    Enzyme and Probiotics capsules - supposed to be taken with every meal, but I keep forgetting
    I also bought Miracle Noodles, but I didn't know you are supposed to fry them too, so I had a hard time eating them. I took a bite and had to spit it out! Lol. I'll give it another try and fry them with onions, garlic, some tomato paste and chicken, plus spices. Some say they're good that way.
    I just ordered HCG shots, flavored Stevia, Detox Lemon flavored tea and Yerba Mate.

    I will switch to injections mid-round and see how that works. I hope I won't have much trouble finding the right dosage.

    Tnsweetness, you are doing great! No plateau, just loss all the way. You must be following the protocol without cheating! Good for you!

    I see some people aren't decided how long they want to be on P2. I will do it for as long as I can, close to 40 days, I'd like to stabilize under 120 if possible. You do not want to keep losing in P3, you want to stabilize within 2 lbs of your LIW (the weight you were at the day of your last injection or drops or whatever you are using). From what I've been reading on the forums, this is the most important phase of the diet and, if you want to cheat, you're better off doing it in P2 than P3.

    Gigi, why do you want to do a second round? I'm sure you'll be very close to your goal at the end of P2. Going to Italy, huh? Yeah, you might actually need to do a second round... lol.
