I'm a believer in positive self talk. You can borrow some of mine: What about "loving myself means quality whole food". Loving myself means giving my body fitness and training my muscles to better support my body. I must love myself more so the love spills out to everyone around me. I must love myself in order to give and receive love. I am worth the time it takes to prepare fresh and healthy, "slow" food. My body craves the fast food that comes in the produce section: grab, wash and go.

Yah, not even 2 pounds above yet, so worrying would certainly be a waste of your time. It's awesome to have a real athlete in our midst!
So is running taking the place of paintball or merely supplementing it? Is there a "paintball season"?

I'd love to get back to my sport (fencing) and actually I would love to see how my bouts go once I'm at goal weight and well-practiced, but it will have to weight until my work schedule shifts. (That's what has kept me out too many years thus far.)

Paintball is put on the back burner for now. My husband is chopmping at the bits to play more but it won't really pick up until about April. I may or may not play as much this year, it is just getting harder to justify how much money we spend on both of us playing. So I will be supportive and save my money for shopping

I do really enjoy runnning and I feel it is a very effective full body workout. It is my goal this year to do one 5K a month so that hopefully will help me keep getting my butt on the treadmill. I am in week two of working out 6 days a week. I feel like if I skip a day it will just lead to more skipped days. But I am mixing it up running a 5K 3x a week, doing yoga, I have a weight class at school, gym on saturday for 2 hours, and this Friday I am going to Zumba! I have been dying to go to Zumba again cause I just feel like Dancing! Today I even ran this morning and I have the weight class after school. My brain says I should take tomorrow off but then I feel like I am slacking(see what I mean about becoming obsessed!) Yesterday I didn't feel like yoga was enough so I threw in some Tae Boe when I was done. I think I am losing my mind.LOL

Uhm, uhm, other than inflammation? Or muscle heavier than fat? Mystery to me too. Reading that workout schedule made me tired

I went to the gym for 2 hours yesterday so I decided to go ahead and taste the chili at a chili contest event we went to. Today I was up 4.6lbs!!! But my feet and hands hurt soooo bad yesterday from being swollen so I know i am retaining water like crazy. So I am downing my water today had steak and eggs for breakfast, no lunch, and a big steak for dinner. Hopefully this will get rid of some of the water weight tomorrow. With this new gain though I am now 10lbs up in two weeks! I am trying to remind myself really hard that I am exercising at least an hour a day and eating healthy so it will be ok. I am having harder and harder time though believing it.

I'm hoping I have water weight issues too. I've been slacking off on the workouts but I did one today, drinking more today too. But I know I stay up late and my weight goes up (I was up late doing laundry, though. No laundry, no clothes to wear in the AM). I'm going to try to stick with a bedtime and water & see where that puts me, because I keep undoing my correction days. When I look back when I said "this P4 is easiest yet", I was going to bed and working out...

Success: lost 2 pounds overnight from going to bed a bit earlier, drinking more, cutting calories but still got about 60g protein for the day (a little low for me but I'm comfortable with that), and getting a little aerobics in. I'm still 4+LDW but I'm getting closer, not farther away.
