@ TuesdayK: I wonder about this a lot when I'm complaining about p2 food. Most of the world eats the same thing EVERY FREAKING DAY....in korea it's kimchee and rice....in Brazil it's rice and beans...etc. Yet I'm whining because of the selection of food I have that fills me up and is nutritious. I think it's good that you don't have to think about what you are eating, and it's working for you weight wise. Simple, filling food that you don't have to think twice about eating is a blessing, imo.![]()
I like eating the same thing every day. Although I'm loving trying new recipes, I'd like to get into a good groove like I was in P2, where I knew what I was going to eat. Makes for easier planning and shopping. Right now I'm like, OMG what am I gonna make for dinner??? :-)
Hello All, Happy Hump Day!!!!
I have a question for all you P3'rs.....ok so I am doing LR/P3....got 1 1/2 weeks under my belt...up .8 from my LDW...
Still measuring once a week. Here's my deliema...
I have increased in my inches in my hips, waist and bust. Is this normal? I am talking anywhere from 1/2 to 3/4"
I hope everyone is doing well, hanging in there, tweaking their program to fit them.
Have a great day all!!!!!

Weirdest thing ever...
I am seeing more reshaping of my face since P3 started than I did in all of P2. I had heard of people mentioning that they were seeing results, but that was not my experience. Whilst shaving I am seeing more cheekbone than I have in a long, long time.
Weirdest thing ever part the second...
I lost all that weight on the 1500 calorie diet on day 1. I ate the same thing the next day and stayed at the exact same weight.
<scratches head in confusion>
p.s. Screw Colchicine for the rest of the round. I'll just be in pain. If the drug is causing this issue then it can take a flying leap.
p.p.s. Wow gout is nearly impossible to diagnose. They can mostly diagnose it through a reaction to NSAIDs, or Colchicine, get a history and hope it's happened to others in your family (psychos hoping for that), or hope it came on suddenly with no trauma, or if it's connected to your big toe. If your uric acid level is up then that is pretty much meaningless as well. After all of that they're still not sure. So they can move on to x-rays, but that only detects pseudo gout. If they do a dual-energy CT scan that only detect advanced cases with tophi. An arthrocentesis can only be done when inflamed and even then they're not very successful. So funny~

Really? I haven't heard anything about not exercising in P3... I work out (mildly) 3-4x/week while in P3 and love it.
I ate pretty much the same thing day after day after day - or maybe it just seemed that way. I would stay on the same foods for 3-5 days at a time, perhaps changing it up once in a while by adding something, but for the most part, I ate the same for a while. As long as you are getting the right nutrients (which does require changing up veggies now and then), I think it's just fine.
