Moya - eek!!! I have IBS and an inflamed gallbladder so I know all about urgent stomach issues! It's very difficult to manage them when you have to deal with people Unfortunately it might be P3 that is doing it to you. I had a huge BM that was a little on the "loose" side after I had my cheese cheat on Saturday night!

Lexi - at least I've been drinking coffee this whole time so that won't affect anything!

photofrog - Yeah...really wanting some zucchini and brocolli! YUM! Funny that I'd be craving veggies after all of this haha! And oh no - you are making me more nervous about the no drop days LOL! And HUGE Congrats on the awesome loss!!!!! Love it! And just one day is not going to kill you. Remember 40 days is the long round, I think its just a minimum of 23 days. It won't hurt you!

azbonnie - That's ironic! Size 9 in juniors, nice! My body shape doesn't really allow me to do juniors unless it's dresses or skirts. I have too big of an ass in relation to my waist LOL! And as long as the weight is going down that's good. I had a bad week last week but this one is shaping up to be better! You are probably losing inches not pounds right now!

AFM - I am down 1.4 this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG I was so happy. I've done better in the first couple of days of this week then I did ALL of last week! AND I got my old clothes out and wait for it...I could get on at least half of my size 6's! They aren't wearable yet, too tight, but they were on and buttoned. Even some of the more generous size 4's! Holy crap! And I was able to "mainstream" as I call it, a whole pile of shirts since I tend to lose more on top then bottom.

On another funny note, I went to get a bra fitting yesterday because I just couldn't stand my bras anymore, and you will never freaking guess what my size is??? 32 DDD. Yeah. You heard me girls. She started with a 34 DD but I had it on the tightest setting so she said you have to go up a cup size if you go down a band size. Yeah...where in the h-e-double hockey sticks else am I going to find that size???

So now...sorry I'm so chatty this morning...I have a dilemna. I am sooo close now to possibly wearing most of my old clothes and being down to a really good weight. I'm thinking about ditching my planning interruption. I don't want to lose any ground. I figure I can still recover okay even after a vodka splurge, and since the only reason I was really doing the PI was because I wanted to drink when my best friend came into town. So I'm thinking I just have the vodka but still eat P2 while she is here. What do you girls think? I'll take any stall/water retention from the drinking but at least I won't gain any back. I really want my cheese, but I think I can stick it out for another 2 1/2 weeks.

Okay...I'm done now. Thanks for listening! You ladies are really the best. I haven't felt at home on a board until now!!!!!

Great news Moya, thanks for being the phase 3 guinea pig.

Juniper - I would skip the PI. For me the hardest part of the diet is getting started. If you go off then you reintroduce all those cravings you just broke. Have the vodka, skip the food cheats. Good luck whatever you decide!

Juniper - I am a tits and ass gal myself, we must be shaped quite similar. My bra size is a 32DD, and nope, it hasn't changed with weight loss. Lots of people complain that they lose their boobs with weight loss, but to my disappointment, not for me. In answer to your bra shopping question, you get them at nordstrom. Here is my favorite, they go on sale about twice yearly for about $50 (so still pricey, but totally worth it). During those sales I usually stock up. The right bra alone can make you look like you have lost 10 lbs so is a worthwhile investment considering you wear it daily! They give a nice shape, lifted and rounded. Plus it is comfortable (I wear a bra 24/7, even to bed so this is important for me).

good morning everyone. I gotta be fast as I have to attend "sexual harrassment training" in 10 min - boring....I started TOM last night and with it yesterday and today I have gained a total of 1.6 pounds. I have been eating the same for P3 - but I fear my body is retaining water from TOM. So today I will drinik a bunch of water and eat really clean. We will see what happens...usually TOM gains for me are lost by day 2 or 3 - but this is new territory for me with the hcg diet etc.

Moya - it is very exciting that you are back in the 120s (how ever you got there).

azbonnie - Thanks. I was kind of thinking the same thing myself. I just don't want to lose any momentum! Even though week 5 was dismal, week 6 is shaping up well and I really don't want to screw it up! Since even 6 vodka's I still lost some weight, though not a whole lot, I think I'll just take the minimalized loss and run with it. Especially since I've lost 1.8 pounds already this week and it's only Wednesday! If I can keep it going and be really good until Sunday then it shouldn't matter that I don't lose for one or two days as long as I don't gain!

Moya - hahaha! Glad I'm not the only one! I didn't know Nordstroms carried that size. We don't have them here in Peoria, but my family lives in Chicago area so I can always go when I visit. The place I got the bra fitting has tons of them too, it's called Soma and is owned by Chico's. Don't know if you have one, but they had a great selection. They were around 42 dollars I think? Which is on par with Victoria Secret prices so not too horrible. And let me tell you...it is amazing to have a bra that actually fits!!!! Even with it's odd size I definitely want to get more, but I want to lose the rest of the poundage just to make sure my cup size doesn't go down at all. They might stay the same...but my hubby said that towards the end was when I started to finally lose the boobs. We'll see I guess! Don't want to spend too much money to have them suddenly shrink at the last minute!

Lexi - stupid TOM! I haven't actually gotten mine yet, but all the water weight seems to have dissapeared suddenly (got a big whoosh of 1.4 this morning on the scale!) I wouldn't fret too much about it, since it is bound to go away as soon as you are done.

    Things I've noticed:

while on hcg I spin a lot of time on pinterest pinning recipes of food I wish I could eat.
I'm beginning to feel like a drug dealer; everyone keeps asking me to buy them hcg rx strength. Instead I tell them how to buy it.
Can't wait until my spare tire is gone.
Hcg has me spoiled .2 loss and I feel like a failure..on a regular diet I would cheer that loss
I sleep better on Hcg then off it...probably due to the diet more then the hormone (and that I can't spell horemone..hormone...hmm).
Men are lucky, they average 1 -1.25 pounds a day weight loss! (did some checking for my dad who is going to start soon...very excited for him!!!)

So as I said .2 loss this morning, but I am coming off a great week of losses and knew my weight would slow walking into this 2nd week... I', trying to keep my chin up. Doing a mini-steak day to step it up a bit.

I will go back and read all your posts and comment Hoping you all are doing great

I love lettuce wraps. I have been eating those while my husband has normal tacos/wraps. I usually make mine with shrimp or chicken. Ground chicken is good too.

I HEAR THAT, JUNIPER!!! I was STARVING the first few days and it was killing me. I'm going to make it through if it kills me!!!!

OH YUCK MOYA! I hope you feel better soon. I have a mild case of IBS, so I know that "GOTTA GO NOW!!" feeling!

The P2 to P3 transition could be rough. More fats, more choices, more FOOD. My tummy may not be able to handle it.

I am THRILLED this AM. I am down .6kilos, so over a POUND!!! YYYYEEESSSSS!!!!! That's my largest movement since Day 7. I also think being back to work full time, moving around there and not sitting here, thinking about food, is helping.

Also, if I get to 80 kilos (my goal for now) I am still in that overweight BMI category. I was there before and it felt ok. I am meant to be in the 70s to be in the normal BMI range. I wonder about that BMI chart at times....
mmm, I'll try those other lettuce wraps. Shimp made me stall last round so I'm staying away from it but chicken and ground chicken sound good.

Congrats on your big loss day!!!!

And BMI is a pretty bad estimate of overweight. I wouldn't worry too much about it to be honest.

I'm on homeopathic drops. Is that 2 days without them?

PHASE 3 IS SCARING ME ALREADY!!!!!
I'd cut it short by a day if I were you...unless you plan on cheating? then I would cheat on p2 and do a few extra days to get back to the weight before the cheat. (better to cheat on p2 then p3).

Moya - Sorry to read about your day, phase 3 is supposed to be fun

Juniper - Congrats on the Size 8's. I laughed because I was at Kohl's with my daughters yesterday too. I threw on a couple of pairs of shorts and even a dress just to measure how I was doing. What a cool feeling. I put on a 9 in Junior Shorts and was able to slide them off without touching the zippers or the buttons! I should have grabbed the 7 just to see.

I had an uneventful day. .4 loss again. The big excitement was throwing my apple in the Blendtec with some cinnamon and water. Yummy, I feel like I cheated, its actually hard to get over how good the applesauce was with no added sweeteners. I also braved giving myself the injection this morning. It kind of made me sick to my stomach but hubby coached me through. I wanted to try it because I am considering a short round after this one. Hubby will likely be gone to I wanted to know if it was even possible.

Hi to Skinnycow, Lexi! Hope everyone has a great day tomorrow.
    Hi back at ya

I just feel so much more comfortable now in P3, I was so afraid I would be up 5 lbs just with how full I felt after my meals. I am going to try to eat similar today and give it a few more days before I add any more foods. Hopefully this is encouraging for all of you guys who are coming up to P3 and feel exactly as paranoid as I did. I know it is early to throw a party, but I can be the guinea pig.

Photo - I meant to comment on your pic too! Love putting a face in place. You slightly resemble Sarah Fergeson, Duchess of York based on that image.

Azbonnie - I was doing microwave apples topped with cinnamon and stevia all through P2 for a sweet treat. I loved it! That and strawberries will be things that I take with me going forward into "normal" eating instead of reaching for cakes and cookies. Healthy and delicious, but doesn't give you that big sugar rush and crash that you would get with most sweet things.

Hope all have a great day!
That made me laugh..."probably from the pooping," so true but so funny. Glad you lost and back to normal!!

try apples with some butter with cinnamon...so yummy. Just nuke until soft...so yummy.

skinnycow - LOL! I have already hooked up two people I know with HCG! So I know how you feel I am totally with you on the food thing...though I've never been on pinterest. Seems like I watch the food channel just to torture myself!

And yes...I have 100% decided against the PI. My head is back in the game after last Saturday's blunders and with this weeks losses shaping up so well I don't want to ruin it! Plus it would be soooo nice to be within a few pounds of my goal weight by the end of the weight loss competition! Then I can stabilize on P3 and then do a couple of weeks of the South beach diet (phase 2) for those last couple of pounds and then stick to an eating plan that I know works for me to maintain for life! Definitely not having any more babies...that is what screwed up my maintenance the first time LOL!
R1 Phase 2 - Total Lost (not including no pellet VLCD's) 30 lbs
    LPW = 141.4
    Last VLCD = 139.8
    R1 Phase 3 - Stable around 140/141

Sounds like a great plan! So exciting to see the goals...light at the end of the tunnel thing. Happy and excited for you!!!!! And yes maintain for life! I agree, I don't want to yo-yo anymore...done it my whole adult life.

Hi Everyone! I started on Feb. 6th so now about 2 weeks into P2. I lost 10lbs the first week and felt like a rock star, but now I've spent 4 days at the same weight. Stalls stink. I haven't had many cravings although watching the kids and husband eat sometimes is a bit rough. Ohhh, the smell of pizza. It's cruel. But, I haven't cheated. I would love to get down to 150 this round (I'm doing 40 days) but it's discouraging to not see the scale move day after day. I would really rather not see the ring of flubber around my waist in vacation pictures this year!
