I did two load days, over which I gained 3 lbs, have completed 2 VLCD and have lost 4, which looks good, but that just puts me at net -1 lb. Maybe half the reason for the load days are so you see a dramatic drop on the scale when you first start, even though over all it isn't that great. Well, I am going to keep plugging away, I have committed to 26 days and am going to try my best to stick with it. I surprisingly am not as hungry as I had thought I would be.
And I am a runner too, I am actually supposed to do a half marathon in April which I probably should be training for. Oh well, I can't see doing that on 500 cal/day. Maybe I'll try out the walking. Hard for me to not want to pick up the pace though.
I did NOT get popcorn at the movies, which is a HUGE success for me. I love popcorn.
VLCD7 for me and I down another .6kilos. YAY! This puts me at an even 110 kilos, down from 114.8. I'll take it.
I am looking forward to the end of Feb when I can start Phase 3 and maybe have a drink. Or 2. Or more....![]()
I've had a super stressful day. My animals are ganging up on me and being assholes and work sucked. I'm trying to figure out my calories for the day and it's pissing me off. There is no consistency. My bag of spinach says there's 20/cal in 4 cups the book says there's 21 cal in 3 cups. WTF? I had one last beer in my fridge so I'm drinking it. I can't even get an accurate cal count on that. I've seen from 93-153. That's quite a difference. I don't want to over-estimate and not eat enough or under-estimate and eat too much. I guess I've already screwed myself with this beer, but whatever. gggrrrrrrr...... I also miscounted my weeks since my last TOM and started today. I'm just a weeeee bit grumpy.
Shoeaddict - what a day, don't give up, it's only one beer. Photofrog - what willpower with the popcorn with a fresh reward of a loss in the morning. Great Job.
I actually went snowboarding today. I was with my husband and prepared my lunch and was ready to enjoy the day. Then a couple of best friends showed up and the lifts were on wind hold so the brilliant idea was to start in with bloodymary's while we waited. I didn't have one. Oh the response: it's ok for one, you don't need to lose weight, yada, yada...I told everyone that while I didn't have a lot of control in my life I could control this diet and then...no more pressure to join in! I was boosted by the extra pound I lost this morning and feel great! Down 10 already.
Thanks bonnie. I'm totally not giving up. I'm very determined to lose the weight I want to before my bday next month. I seriously don't think I hit my 500 cal today. Best I can figure it was 360 and that was with the beer. I did portion and cook chicken for 5 meals (ate one tonight) and cut up strawberries and cucumbers. I just need more time to prepare. I work wicked long hours and live by myself...well except for my furkids. They're no help, no thumbs.
frog: congrats resisting that popcorn. I rarely go to a regular theater because we have an awesome drive-in here so it's easy to avoid the buttery salty goodness....thankfully.

I am in need of support as well!! I cheated when I started and I just havent stopped yet. I know the weight needs to come off, I just need to find my motivation. I would love to find hcg friends that I can take this journey with!!
@shoeaddict don't worry it will get better don't give up. Personally I don't count calories while doing HCG. As long as you measure your proteins all goes well so dot obsess over calories. Hopefully your not effected by the beer in the morning but I so that's on cuz you can still lose on the next day.
