For the prepaid Visa cards, are those good to use for purchases overseas?
I am reading online that many people say the prepaid visas are only good in
the US.
Yep, I have false charges on my account also! I am trying to get this resolved. Frustrating.

I have a separate bank account that I use only for internet purchases. I transfer money to that account as needed. Just checked back to make sure I really used that account back in December and I did. No weird charges on that account at all.

Ugh...I am so torn. Some are getting charges...others none...
and there's a total of 6 of us who are going in on an order.
I need to order from them. Guess I need to read the "terms
and conditions" of the prepaid visa I am going to possibly get
tomorrow.

I use a prepaid visa, from Walmart money store for all my online purchases. I have ordered my hCG with it as well, and have never had a problem. If they accept visa/mastercard then it should work just fine, that is a global net work.Originally Posted by caressa

You can call your bank and let them know that your card number has been exposed to risk, and they will flag it to watch for suspicious charges.
If I remember correctly, doesn't ADC require a third party to transfer or convert the payment? I'm just wondering where the vulnerability was. I'm so sorry several of you were hurt by this. Thank you, laguna, for warning everyone.

Most credit card issuers will create temporary numbers for situations where you may not trust the merchant.
Here's Bank of America's info on it:
"The ShopSafe® service allows you to create a unique, temporary card number each time you're ready to make an online purchase. This number links directly to your real credit card account number but keeps your card number completely private and completely protected. The ShopSafe number is used just like a credit card account number - a merchant never knows it's not your real credit card account number. To get the ShopSafe service, sign in to Online Banking and choose "Use ShopSafe" from your Account Activity screen."
I've never been able to access the shopsafe service from my BofA accounts. I've emailed them twice asking why it doesn't show up for me.

Hi! Just want to let everyone know that I did receive my hcg yesterday - it arrived in 12 days, so I'm pretty happy about that! However, I also have 3 unauthorized charges on my card that I used. When researching ADC, I found lots of negative feedback from customers who have had unauthorized charges appear on their credit card after making a purchase with them. I was very nervous about placing an order, knowing this. I purchased a prepaid visa, just to use for this purchase. I'm so glad I did! The card that I purchased had approx $50 remaining after I made the ADC purchase (I haven't used it anywhere else). There were 2 charges that were denied due to insufficent funds and 3 small charges that were made yesterday that I will have to file dispute claims for. I just want to warn everyone about this and if you are considering making a purchase, PLEASE do not use your credit card.....I bought enough hcg for several rounds. This is just more motivation to stick with the diet because I will never order from ADC again!!
I placed my order on Feb. 2. They ran up two charges ..both were for XBOX LIVE Microsoft points. Which I thought was odd because they then need to spend the microsoft points after that...and since I contacted XBOX right away, they never got to spend a penny of the points. I think they actually thought it was like buying credit for use sometime later, but no..XBOX blocked the purchases. I am happy they didn't truly get away with it.
