    Unhappy Ashamed.

    I'm feeling so ashamed.

My first week I lost 4.4 lbs. But now I'm all messed up… Saturday I totally fell off the wagon (didn't take a shot and had family in town so didn't follow protocol), then today TOM started so I didn't take a shot and didn't follow protocol 100% (but didn't do horribly). So long story short I've gained at least 2 lbs, and I know that when I go to the doctor on Wednesday to weigh in I will be up from last week.

I'm just feeling so dumb because I spent $199 on this program and so far I'm doing horribly. I plan on skipping the next couple of days for TOM, and once I get back on track I will have 12 days of injections left. I am just hoping to lose a few pounds and not feel like I completely wasted a bunch of time and money. What's worse is that two other women in my office are on the diet and ask how I'm doing every day… and now I have to tell them I've GAINED weight!

I dunno… just venting I guess. I really should have waited until after TOM to start the program like they advised me to. But at the time I was just so excited and wanted to start. Ugh!

Can I get back on track? Can I make any difference in 12 days?
    P2 started 2/11/11 @ 177 lbs.

    WEEK 1: -4.4 lbs.
    WEEK 2: +2 lbs (TOM)

Forgive yourself. Really. Now, just buckle down and be resolute to stick with the program. Load properly. Prepare meats in advance and store in baggies in freezer. Have veggies cut up and apples ready. Also, have steak and/or full fat fage yogurt on hand for those correction days. Stay connected on the forums... You can do it! We can do it!
    Losses as of 3/23/12 for R1 & R2:
    55 pounds, 84.5 inches

My bet is your gain is just water weight attributable to TOM. I bet it leaves you quickly in a couple of days. Get back on the horse, and keep going. :-).

First thing first, I don't reccomend stopping the HCG. The problem with that is, after about 3 days the HCG is out of your system and it takes time to build it back up. I wouldn't ever skip your dosing, no matter what happens.

Secondly, please please please do not be ashamed about it. The thing that I have found with P2 is that it makes you deal with some things that maybe previously you didn't really face. Like the idea that we use food as a substitute for other things, that maybe when we overeat or whatever, it's not really related to a physical hunger. Please don't view it as a waste of time and money. It's just another step in the process. It happens. truth be told...I have cheated about 8 times on this round (55 days total). Not little cheats either, big ones. Early on, I would feel really bad about it. Then I started accepting it as part of my personal process (I have previous binge eating issues). And then I started looking at the big picture. 8 cheat days, but 47 days on protocol. Approx 35lbs and 40 inches lost. That's pretty damn good. But the biggest thing is that I learned to forgive myself and I got right back on the plan, the very next day, and then I just kept going. Sometimes it's 2 steps forward and 1 step back, but as long as you keep moving forward, at whatever pace, you're good. You can absolutely make a difference with all the time you have left. Re-commit, re-focus, and you'll be happy you did.

Also, don't feel pressured to tell the women in your office about gaining. I live with my parents and my mom asks me every day how it's going, but I can be as mum as I please. If I've had a bad day or night, I don't have to tell her. It's your choice how much info you divulge.

Best of luck to you, you can do this!!

Thank you! I have been going back and forth as to whether I should stop the injections during TOM. I ultimately decided to go ahead and skip the first three days of my period but I still don't know what the right decision is on that. Seems to be a topic of debate.

My Mother-in-law and very good friend, Valli and I are doing this together. We started on Feb 1st. She has lost 12.5 pounds which she is very happy with. I have only lost 8. But I know why. I have not been 100% committed to this and fully off protocol for the last week. I re-committed today. I need to do this, I want to do this for many, many reasons. I was torn though. I was not sure whether I should start over and reload or just get back on track. Ultimately, I decided not to reload. We are taking HHCG, but after being on this forum I believe we have decided to try and get our Docs to give us a Rx for R2. If they won't we will get the shots on line. Considering we have been using HHCG, how long do we really have to wait between R1HHCG and R2 Rx? What is the reason for the waiting period between rounds and would it still apply in this situation?

Thanks you in advance for your much valued opinions.
