    Can laxatives be taken

I have only had one bowel movement in the last 5 days. Can laxatives be taken, if so any particular ones ? ( I am in the UK)
I am drinking 2+L of water every day.
    Thanks for any advice

There's several people on here that take Smooth Move tea. My sister in law, who's also on HCG, swears by Smooth Move and it hasn't slowed her losses.

I only go if I drink Smooth Move the night before. I've not gone on "my own" once this entire round. I usually have 4 days between BM and I drink the tea.

I take Senekot, which is the same thing as Smooth Move tea, only in a pill form instead of a tea form. It works okay for me, but usually takes longer to work than the box says, and when I get impatient and take more, it works a little *too* well...

I'm on p3 now and I still have trouble with this. My body doesn't push through the protein very well, I guess...
