    I want to look in the mirror without feeling crappy. I bet my most vain reason is I am moving to a new city in a few months and I want my first impression on people to be skinny me not fat me. I also like being sexy... i mean who doesn't. I just like wearing all the cute little things you can get. Husband can care less but I love lingerie :P

    This is a cool thread!

    My reasons are definitely vanity driven I just want to get back into my pre second baby clothes and to feel good about myself in the mirror. I'll probably never like my legs...even when I was 130 pounds I hated them...but at least I will feel mostly good about things!

    Also have a beach vacation coming up and both years that we went I was skinny...so definitely don't want to deal with bathing suits even at my current weight LOL!

    Wanted to get back to the real me....wearing normal clothes, being fit, all of that good stuff. My wife got pregnant 20 days into my first round so my motivation totally changed at that point. I wanted to be healthy for my son. Started Jan 1 of 2011 at 243 and am at 178 today after my third and final round.

    I'm turning 40 this summer and I didn't want to be fat anymore. I want to be able to take my kids to the beach and on vacations without worrying about what to wear. I didn't want to be the fattest person in the room anymore. The biggest reason for me though, is that heart disease and high blood pressure run in my family. My grandpa died at 49 and my mom had a series of strokes at 59 and died at 61 from complications from the strokes and heart disease. Those last 2 years she barely even knew who we were. I was 37 at the time, with a 18 month old and a newborn and it was devestating for me. Now I have developed high blood pressure and I am losing this weight to get healthy and hopefully live a long life. I never want my kids to have to go thru what I went thru with my mom, and I will do whatever it takes to prevent that from happening.

    Oh yeah I can agree about he " sex" thing..Its not like its bad but I see myself and I could just puke.. Husband doesnt care and thinks I am beautyful the way I am..gotat love him for that but still.. kinda uncomfy for sure with myself..

    LOL!! I went SCUBA diving this past summer... (before my hcg journey started) & I WOULDN'T SINK!!! I can't tell you how many rocks my instructor had to put in my pockets to get me down!
    I'm looking forward to going again this summer - and being able to sink with just the regular weight vest!

    I forgot this shallow motivation. My husband is 5'6", and goes between 140 and 150. I weigh less than him! YAY!! (AND I'm almost 2 inches taller! AND I have hips!)
