    hi beth i hope u get this thread im new and learning how to do this are the num. at the end the calories or grams im trying to get this right also is ther a way i can save this thread?

    THANK YOU! This is great! My doctor gave me the menu but not the calorie values and measurements. I was not sure if I was eating too many veggies. I just wish I could mix some of them in my salad.
    I need to ask a question about the HCG Spray. My doctor says that I can only stay on the Phase 1-500 calorie diet for 6 weeks. I have to wait 1 month and start HCG again. Do most people only stay on the HCG for 6 weeks? I really would like to know. Again, thank you so much for the menu.

    So, what happens if I mix the vegetables? i.e. into a salad?

    That's where I went rogue on the diet - I mixed my greens and veggies in my salads for my lunches. It worked OK for me. I'm now on my last day of P3 and have stabilized beautifully. Other than my veggies (the only one I ate that was not on protocol was broccoli), I stuck to the food protocol.

    I believe the starch content for green beans is too high. Beet greens are the tops of a beet- the green leafy part that looks like a plant.

    If you are going to try green beans on P2, have French green beans. They are less starchy than regular green beans because the middle of the bean has been removed.
