If you need to lose a WHOLE 10 LBS, can you go BRAG someplace else

I do not think this diet is for people that want to lose 10-20 vanity pounds. Hit the gym!

For those of us who are extremely overweight 100+lbs, this is a great jump start. But to avoid loose skin, eventually we will all have to hit the gym. In between rounds is the perfect time.

I personally get irritated when i see posts like, "i just want to lose 15 pounds, can i do shorter rounds than 23?" For real? I really want to tell them to go somewhere else. People already like 120 pounds wanting to do this diet should go to AA (anorexia anonymous). I gotta lose close to 100 pounds, why the hell would i care that your "skinny jeans" are getting a little tighter than they were last week?

    Just saying....

Use HCG to get you within 20-30 pounds of where you want to be and then do the rest yourself, build muscle, eat healthier, be happy. The results will be much better.

Really not trying to be mean or trying to offend, this diet is just so extreme and there are much easier, less riskier ways to do it. Ways that you would appreciate the results much more with a tight, firmer body.

Not the nicest post I have seen on here... I thought we were all a team... I want you to loose weight as much as I want to loose weight I understand your frustration but this isn't the way to bring it up...I shouldn't take it personal but I do...

@hlengelsman, at almost 150, my post doesnt apply to you. its the people within their "normal" weight bracket that bother me. You know when the doctor says you should be between this many pounds and they are at the upper end, but still within the bracket? i saw a post by someone like 125 talking about losing 10 pounds and wondering about like 15 day rounds. its upsurd. BTW congrats on your progress, how far r u in?

I do stand by what i said earlier, you should leave some extra weight for the gym. The results will be so much better. Being so young, you should want muscle and abs and curves. Dont you want a body like the ones the girls on the exercise videos have? At least i know what i want my body to look like and losing weight simply isnt enough for me. I want to sculp my body. People wanting to lose like 10-15 pounds do not want to lose weight, they want to sculp their bodies they just dont realize that is what they really want. When they finally lose the 10 pounds they were so worried about and dont get the results they were looking for, they lose more, and more. and then it becomes anorexia. They were never fat to begin with, just out of shape. But until they hit the gym, they will never get what they are really looking for.

It does't make a difference if you are 100 or 10 pounds overweight...I was 100 over at on time and now I am 40y/o and cannoot seem too loose the 10 last one after having my daugther. Aging is a bit%* . Dont be upset. Lets just do this together, for whatever reason! Have a greta day!!!!!!!!!

You really haven't paid attention to what it like for a lot of people who are doing HCG. I do take offense to your post. You shouldn't judge people and if exercise would help us get where we want to be we would be doing that. Years ago I was in a normal BMI for my height and I was able to lose weight on weight watchers the problem was I got to a point and couldn't lose anymore weight. I still wanted to lose about 20lbs but it wouldn't come off no matter what i did. If I knew about HCG back than I would have done it to get that last 20 off. Now I'm hypothyroid. I've gained a lot of weight over the years and no matter what diet I tried it wouldn't come off. Now I'm 20 lbs from my goal, so you are saying I should stop and excercise. Guess what, I'll never get that off without HCG. So please don't judge people because they want to lose a little or a lot of weight. You have no idea what they are going through. You have no idea what they look like and whether they need to lose that weight or not. It's not your decision to make.

Jenine, just curious, are you less than 130 lbs? Maybe i should qualify my original statement, to apply to anyone who is under 130 lbs (unless they are like 5 feet or something)

If you are within your normal body weight for your height and you are unhappy with your body, losing weight isnt going to fix anything. Only targetted exercise will.

I don't normally feed more negativity to negativity but I am PMSing.

Who cares if someone is below 130? It's their journey not yours. That is the most random qualifier I have ever heard. Looks like you were 119 at one point and would love to get back there. When you reach 130 (which I sincerely hope to do) will you stop the HCG, even if it is working well for you? I doubt it.

I have been as high as 162 and as low as 115 and no matter which end of the spectrum I am if it is 10# over where I want to be I feel bad about it. I even gained back 25# of the weight I lost on HCG and am at the end of my round to take it back off. I didn't get annoyed by people who can keep the weight off even though I struggled.

I have been working out every morning at 5am for the last 18 months. I have completed Body For Life and I run, do the elliptical, and the Power Plate. I took a break from my workouts for this round because it jacks up my appetite and guess what? My body looks no different after 2 months of no exercise. Losing fat is losing fat. I will go back to it for the mental health benefit but it never "reshaped" body nor helped me lose that "last 10 pounds".

I have complained a ton about not fitting perfectly into my size 4's and I am damn proud of it. I have NEVER been this size in my 38 years of life and I want to shout it from the rooftops as you will too when you get there.

Support others and they will be there to support you when you need it.

I guess those of us who have lost a lot of weight with exercise and other diets could flip it around and say why haven't you lost your 100lbs the traditional way if it's so easy to do. Why wait until you find HCG to do it? If you can't get your 100+lbs off that way what makes you think you can get your last 20lbs off with it?
Highest weight 244lbs, start weight for HCG 165.8lbs

    HCG LDW 147.6
Round of steroids, HUGE GAIN, so another round of HCG
    Restart 10/17/2011
Restart weight 175.8 (no load gain)
    Week 1-169.0 -5.8lbs
Will post weekly weights. Not following protocol just keeping an eye on portion sizes and what I eat.

I went from 179 to 138 on my own it took 9 months to lose that 40 pounds. I worked out every day and ate 800 calories a day..eventually I plateaued 20 pounds above where i wanted to be. I continued to excersise and diet for 6 months did not lose a pound..I didn't gain either thankfully. I am 5'2 inches so 179 is obese for me. and 138 is still overweight. HCG was the only way i could see to lose it..I can not take diet pills due to extreme anxiety. Sure i wasn't obese anymore, and I could of just lived with the weight, but I hold all my weight in my stomach and i was a 38 inch waist at 5'2. It is easy to look at others and judge, but I think people usually do that when they are not happy with themselves. It is better to let others live and not judge them, because it hurts a little when you get judged back..What if someone said you shouldn't be on the forum, because you let yourself get too fat and have no self control? It is the same thing and wrong

Started at 179 (5'3") June 5th 2010. Lost 40 pounds eating no sugar, flour, wheat, rice, or dairy, and eating 2 times a day breakfast and lunch. Stalled at 138 for 4 months then decided to do HCG.

Here's the deal: I started this journey with 60 pounds to lose. It may take me three rounds, or perhaps four, to complete my journey to goal. It is very possible that that last round will be for a mere 5-10 "vanity" pounds.

Eating right and hitting the gym hasn't worked for me to lose fat in the past 10 years. I sure won't be putting myself through that again. I will exercise for the joy of it, for the feeling of accomplishment, but not to change my body.

So, I'm not one to judge you if you want to lose those last 10 pounds with the one method I have found effective.

I do take issue with people complaining that they are having trouble stabilizing when they choose a goal that's too low. But that is their personal choice, their lesson to learn, or their cross to bear, not mine.
