Something strange is happening to me

    Longg time no post.

So I decided to not only go rogue, but over my calories as well.. I first tried 800 calories and was losing a pound or so a day, then I ate 1300 calories and dropped 4 lbs, then the day after that I had 1200 calories and dropped another 3 pounds. What. The. Heck?

I think I will stay on a "under 1500 calorie rogue" to see how my body reacts.

I ate 1400 calories today. Let's see what happens in the morning.

Either way can someone explain to me the weight loss after my caloric increase? It's some sort of black magic?

Very interesting indeed! I just recently decided to up my calories to 600. Pretty much just adding more protein, although I lost the melba and fruit a while ago. What kind of rogue are you doing, besides the increased calories? Still low carb and low fat? Or are you adding some off-protocol foods?

actually i'm doing DIRTY rogue eating morning star frozen foods and weight watchers tv dinners. each vary from 150 calories to about 300 calories each. i also have home cooked meals like homemade chicken parmesan, mousse jello pudding, etc etc guess i'm on a "eat whatever the hell i want as long as its under 1400calories a day" diet plan. so heres my update for today....

    UPDATE:

i weighted my self and i'm down another 2lbs.

so from 315lbs to 306.9lbs in 4 days (about 9lbs), eating anything but staying under 1500 calories
drinking lots water with those walmart energy tube packs that you pore into the water bottles for flavor (and energy apparently)
with the added calories i'm doing muscle training (Working out lifting wrights) no too much tho. just like 30 minutes and only 2 muscle groups a day)

i'm NOT complaining, but i find it weird and fascinating. i will continue to update this thread for those interested

i will not have a morning star corn dog (150 calories) yum

Sounds like you are just doing a low calorie diet. Sounds like the HCG is just helping with the appetite suppressant & fat burn.....maybe?

The telling will be in whether stabilization and metabolic reset will occur in Phase 3, if you even bother with a phase 3.

The hcg protocol is more than just losing weight. it's making your body react the way it used to with foods, resetting your metabolism after resting your hypothalamus for several weeks. It does not get that rest until it's not having to make the decisions on what to do with the calories you are eating. Eating higher carbs and more fats than the protocol allows, means the hypothalamus is likely not getting the rest.

I am moving this post the Boxing Ring Section of the forum.

perhaps. i think too little is known about hcg. i think its still in "beta". it does work, but its different for everyone. but i personally know many people who's had stalls in the original protocol, and went rogue and have continue to lose pounds after pounds for several months.

Wow! That sounds like heaven. My complaint with hcg has not been the hunger. I did not much enjoy the recipes. What I wouldn't do for a little oil to cook with or dress salads. I did 3 rounds and lost about 55 lbs altogether. But, I gained between rounds because I did not add foods in gradually. I want to start another round, but I dread the limited choices and was hoping I could get away with more calories. It is exciting to see that you are losing. Was down to 181, but back up to 199 and I am panicked.
