Thread: Squash?

  1. #1

    Question Squash?

In P3 is squash allowed or does that count as a starch? When I Google'd it I got several different answers. Some said yes starch, others said no, but said it has high sugar content and I'm not supposed to have sugar either. Does anyone know if I can eat it or not once I get to P3?

I ate yellow squash throughout P3 and did fine. It and zucchini are not starchy like the winter squashes.

Right! Yellow squash is a summer one. The winter ones are so good though. I sure understand wanting to eat them!

i've had butternut before on P3 and done ok with it- depends on how many carbs you eat that day, or that meal.
