    Had to interrupt an apple day. What do I do tomorrow?

    I ate 3 apples (181g, 174g, and 157g) and by the afternoon I was not feeling well: drowsy, light-headed, cranky, thinking obsessively about food - especially breads. I have to work so I ate 300g of fried egg whites with about 2T sliced onion and a cup of plain black tea. Total calories for the day come out to 432 which is still under 500 but I know the distribution is all wrong.

    Should I eat anything else this evening, or stop there?

    Should I go back to the regular eating plan tomorrow?

    Any idea what I've done to my weight loss?

    I stayed up into the wee hours finishing a work project and was hungry again so I had 60g of spinach and 1 Melba toast. The daily total still was under 500 calories.

    This morning my weight is the same as it was yesterday. It's not just a stall, it's been higher for several days now which is a little alarming. I'm going to go back to the regular protocol today but does anyone have any suggestions as to how to proceed to correct the increase?

    You have to make sure you are getting your protein in. If you don't eat enough protein that can actually stall or cause you to gain. I would check and re check everything you are doing. Even if you think you know it and are doing it right. I was measuring out and eating to much protein once and didn't even realize it. Also write everything down that you eat. Make sure you are drinking enough water, AND getting enough sleep. Lack of sleep can also affect weight loss. I would strictly follow the protocol for a few days and recheck everything. If you still have no losses try an apple day again. I wouldn't do an apple day though when you will be up extra long as this will work against it.

    The nurse practitioner I get my hCG from gave me a wonderful workbook to go with it. It includes a daily journal in which I write down everything I eat. Yesterday was day 27. I had 498 calories and 69g of protein. Today the scale is up another .2 lb. I can't understand how I can be gaining weight!

    Yesterday's calories were 484. Still no change in my weight today although I did finally have a BM (thank you, magnesium citrate). I thought for sure the scale would go down after that, but no!
