Hi AA, I just started my second round (on my own this time & not paying all that $$ to the clinic). So far the Metformin ER hasn't hindered my wt loss at all. In fact, it's supposed to help us lose wt by not letting our blood sugar levels spike so drastically. I have PCOS & insulin resistance so that's why my endo put me on Met ER about a year ago telling me it would help me lose wt but it never did. This is a terrific forum & I've learned & continue to learn so much from it. Make sure you read Dr Simeon's Pounds & Inches too - it explains EXACTLY how the hcg diet works & the steps to follow.
