I have been cleaning out closets an have a big box for hospice, Hope Chest in Modesto Friday, They were so great when my Father-n-law and Mother-n-law were dying.. Since my cancer and now my husband has been diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer, ( we just finished IMRT and Cyber knife) I really like to support them. I worked in labor delivery as a cn years and years ago, was hard because I couldn't get pregnant but loved setting up delivery room and carrying the babies to the nursery. The Lord really blessed me with a man who had 2 little girls and now I am a Grandma, I love it..

Well, I only have this month to go, but I work for Hospice. I started in hospice almost three years ago. Went from delivering babies to hospice which was quite a change. I would have to say I love hospice over all other nursing and I hope that I'll be able to stick with it even after our move.

We were with YWAM (youth with a mission) and were in Haiti and Holland. Holland was not in the plan but that's where we got stuck, when we were trying to get into Iraq. We ended up in Cimarron, CO working for YWAM but that ended up sort of a sour deal. After CO, we prayed about where to go next, thinking we would end up trying to get back into Iraq but ended up in WY. I'm still not sure why, but here we have been for 16 years.

My sister still lives in Bridegport, my mom in NV, my brother in Washington state. Cousins and others are scattered, but mostly in CA. My husbands family is almost exclusively in CA.

So where is Ripon, CA? What do you do for a living? Family in CA?
Both my husband and I are originally from CA; I'm from Bridgeport, he's from Glendale. Moved to WY about 16 years ago after having been in Missions. Most of our family members are still in CA. Just was wondering. RJ
