Well, I will keep my thinking cap on, and I bet others will too. You never know what little nugget someone might come across that could help. One day at a time, or one night at a time...:-)
Thanks Beenz! I am not on Ambien. I have tracked it to my Anxiety issues and according to my research it is like I am using food to control the stress/anxiety from taking over. I have been on Anxiety meds before and they tend to have so many side effects I'm trying to get through this without them. I live in an apartment and don't really have any place to put the food. It's a strange problem -- if you google it you will find all kinds of things out there -- just trying to find the right combination that will work to help me control it. I was Sooooo hoping the tryptophan would work, but no such luck. The one thing I found on the Internet was that there is a drug out there that might help, so I'm saving $$ for the doc to talk to him about it. (no insurance) . I'll keep you posted. It's such a hard thing to face and it is so helpful to have people who are helpful and supportive. I will check in tomorrow and let you know how tonight goes. Have a great night Angelina
Welcome, Angelina! We will be here for you as much as possible. I have heard of things like this happening when people take certain sleep aids, like Ambien. I wasn't aware it could occur without those drugs, but I guess it should not surprise me. Have you considered putting food in inaccessible places? Like-the garage or something-or are you afraid you might leave the house in a semiconscious state?
cat hair is a spice, no?
